Minimise the cost of transfers to Heathrow Airport
Unlike most international airports, hotels serving Heathrow are not allowed to offer free shuttles to the terminal. There are a couple of options for getting to and from Heathrow Airport:
- BAA subsidise local buses so they are free to you. If you don't mind a little trek you can hop on one of the public buses
- The other alternative is the "Hotel Hoppa" bus that operates on a fixed route and serves several Heathrow Airport hotels from Terminals 1,2 and 3. Separate routes go to Terminal 5 and the Heathrow Connect offers free transfers to terminal 4.

- Standard Room facilities include a private bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, TV and phone.

- Transfers to Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are provided by the Heathrow Hoppa which serves the majority of hotels within the airport perimeter. This service is not operated by the hotels, therefore an additional cost of £5 each way for adults and 50 pence for children (aged 3-15) is applicable. Children under 14 years of age may only travel when accompanied by an adult, children under 3 travel free when accompanied by an adult.
- Catch the Heathrow Connect Train for transfers to Terminal 4 from Central Terminals 1, 2 and 3. This service is free and runs every 15 minutes. Transfers to Terminal 5 vary depending on the hotel, so be sure to check the transfer details for any Heathrow Airport hotel you are considering booking if you are departing from that terminal.
- If you are travelling with pets the following hotels can usually accommodate your extra companion: Hilton Hotel, Ibis hotel, Novotel, Radisson Plaza and the Sheraton Skyline.
- Most Hotels serving Heathrow Airport also provide on-site parking within their own grounds.
- If you are interested in Heathrow Hotels with parking as a combined package, be aware that any parking stays beyond the duration booked will be charged extra at a daily rate.
