Easy access from Heathrow central via free public transport.Rooms clean tidy and organised (electricity outlets close to desk and mirror for working and grooming) Very friendly check in staff. Was conecting to an early morning flight so did not get to use the facilities but it more than met my requiements.
Very clean and convenient with easy access to Heathrow airport. Only stayed one night but would recommend this Hotel. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful.
Stayed for one night.Clean, but food expensive(especially buffet breakfast) Convenient for Heathrow using free local bus to and from airport
The room was nice, even though it was small, it was tidy, clean and pleasant to stay in. The room service was on point. The only thing I disliked was the fact that the bathtub did not seem clean and the toilet did not have a label on it saying if it was disinfected. Everything else was ok. They have to work on their bathroom hygiene, however. The receptionist was nice and gave me maps and schedules of buses that can take me to Heathrow.
for the money we paid, this hotel plus parking was excellent value .j&j leslie
Entrance bright and fresh. Staff well presented and pleasant. Decent bar and dining areas. Prices as you would expect at an airport hotel (drinks on the expensive side) Room not very big but comfortable and certainly adequate for a 1 night stopover.
I was not very impressed with the evening meal. The starter in particular (a salad) was very insubstantial and not good value, even though there was an offer on that evening. Staff both in the restaurant and at Reception were most helpful.
A great experience! Comfortable and quiet room, with blackout curtains, toiletries and a super efficient shower. Very good value. Safe parking on site and easy to get the airport bus, just outside the front door. Did not eat in the restaurant. It seemed expensive.
excellent first class service staff very helpful transferes on time made a great start to our holiday thank you
After a long train journey it was great to have a very pleasant comfortable room ready for us, at a very competitive rate. We had an early long haul flight the next morning and the hotel stay ensured we were rested before continuing upon our journey.
a simple and straightforward procedure. The experience of using this hotel for an overnight stay before our onward trip and parking our car for the duration of the trip was a good one, with no problems encountered
We stayed one night at half term and whilst I understand that is a very busy period, I expected that having booked 8 days parking, we would have a space! We parked on double yellows in the car park after being told that we would have to find our own space and that there was nothing they could do about the carpark being full. Having left our car there overnight we were informed in the morning that we would have to go out and search again for a space before leaving for the terminal. Luckily we found one just in time to leave for the flight, but it was hardly a relaxing stay. There was no apology or discount offered and we felt customer service was basically non-existent.
Very small double beds - more like a single with a small extra bit!
We stayed at the week end so we had a really good deal. Brilliant service when we checked in, rooms very clean and comfortable, brilliant bathroom, liked the extra large makeup mirror. Food in the restaurant was very nice, good service though our waiter spoke quite bad English, hard to understand him at times. Taxi to the airport cost £12 there, but on the way home with one extra passenger the price jumped to £21 - that is the only thing we were unhappy with. We shall be using the hotel again. Brilliant.
We booked over the internet and got a very good deal. The room was lovely and clean. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely use the Holiday Inn Ariel again as we travel to the United States often. The bus to the airport was very punctual and the driver was very helpful, helping me on with my luggage.
My long journey on Saturday was not tiring in any way due to the rest I had on the previous evening by staying at the hotel.
Very friendly and professional staff. Not easy to find from the map, but ideal situation for the airport.
It took a while to find our Holiday Inn as there are 3 in the vicinity and we went to the other 2 first, but once you know where it is it's quite easy to find but would be helpful to know that their are 3 within close proximity. We parked in the car park no problem, right near reception actually and was given a brown envelope at reception to pop the car keys in which we had to hand in the following morning. The check in was smooth and the room was great, clean & tidy. We were hungry as we had travelled from York, but because it was after 10.30pm the menu choice was very limited to about 4 choices. We chose chilli con carne which was ready in seconds and I guess a micro meal which wasn't too tasty and cost £9 each which we thought was a rip off! The bar man was very friendly and helpful when we were choosing a bottle of wine and we got 15% off for being residents! The following morning we handed the car keys to reception and got on the shuttle bus, which was on time without any probs. On our return from our holiday we got a taxi back to the hotel and picked the car keys up and got in the car which was in the same place we left it. Overall we had a great experience at the Holiday Inn Ariel and would definitely use it again, and the cost of the room and parking was very reasonable.
