This hotel/parking arrangement suited us down to the ground as, arriving at a very late hour, we would not have benefitted from luxury accommodation. The taxi transfer both ways was excellent. We can't fault Master Robert for a one night stand!!
Although the state of the room more old and delapidated but reasonably clean, and no hot water, but breakfast was more than acceptable. However this should'nt put anyone off if they consider the overall price (we had parking for 10 nights in overall cost)versus that of driving to the airport the same day and the cost of parking only which was herendous quotations. We would recommend this stopover for a one nighter, secure parking facility and airport transfers which were at a very decent return rate of £13.00s total.
I was disapointed with the standard of the room. Its is in need of decoration and refurbishment, it is the worst hotel we have stayed in, and we will not use it again. The parking however was good and so was the airport transfer , apart from the taxi drivers looking for atip. when fee have already paid at the hotel.
If all you want is a clean room and a bed for the night before you fly and somewhere to park your car for a week or two then this is a good choice. Cheap bar snacks were available at the pub next door.
A short distance from the airport, so transfers are not quite as fast as other hotels, but the room was much quieter as a result. Had a very large (if basic) room. Hotel arranged transfer to and from airport is via a local taxi firm and went very well (didn't have to wait long at airport).
very poor experience, rooms of chalet stlye with thin walls and constant noise from landing aircraft at Heathrow (why no double glazing?) When we arrived (Friday 28th december) at 2215 hours with two kids there was no food available as the restaurant had closed at 2100 hours due to the "Christmas" period! To top it all there was a hastily placed Z bed in our room for child number two and this had no sheet on it- i then had to wit for half an hour at reception to request a sheet (one person on dealing with check ins) and then another BLANKET was dropped at the room instead of a sheet!!- Awful place, truly awful.
good deal near airport with 15 day parking, and taxi service is better than hotel hoppa bus - specially for terminal4.Front desk jumior staff not trained - but very efficient (hungarian?) young man who sorted everything out and was couirteous and helpful.
Even though we were told that a space was reserved for us in the bay in front of our room, another car had parked there and when we informed reception even though they had a note of the registration, they refused to contact the owner. We had to park our car overnight at the front of the hotel which we felt was very insecure.
Hotel disappointing wouldn.t use again at the back not good, didn't show this on internet. Taxi service recommended appalling 1hr wait when returning and paid up front £18 tried to get us in with someone else no room just didnt seem to care and hotel the same.
Room wanted a good clean, was able to write my name in the dust on the door, although the bed-linen and bathroom were fine. Double glazing unit held in with parcel tape. Main room light was a basic fluorescent strip light (no atmosphere) and there were no bedside lights or bedside light switches for the room light. The bathroom was in good condition and clean.
If I were a visitor to London, this hotel would make me go back to the airport and fly home! I dont expect this review to make it on to your site! Will NEVER go to this hotel again.
The bedrooms are in blocks rather like a motel and were shabby, as was the bathroom. However, it was clean and cheap. Would not stay here again as it is on the flightpath and we were woken at 5am by planes every few minutes.
The taxi driver on the return journey asked for another £10 as I mistakenly informed him we were waiting at Terminal 4 when it was Terminal 3; an easy mistake to make after a long tiring journey. I gave him £5 as that's all I had, thought this was unnecessary and very cheeky.
We would not book into this hotel again because the bed was so uncomfortable we could not sleep, with a long flight ahead of us we were tired before we set off.
We found hotel very easily from directions given - staff extremely helpful, comfortable room - three staying in one room but ample space and comfort. Very enjoyable meal in evening - would stay again if travelling from Heathrow, without a doubt.
Very satisfactory overall, and provide the overnight stay with parking in a good manner. I would definitely stay again.
