transfers to Heathrow Airport

A shuttle taxi service operates to all five terminals, 24 hours a day. The cost is £4.50 per person one way, and taxis can be booked and paid for at reception. Transfers to terminals 1-3 are also available on the Heathrow Hoppa bus, which runs from 05.00 to 20.00 every 30-40 minutes, and from 20.00 to 23.30 every 20-30 minutes. A separate Hoppa service operates to and from Terminal 5 from 05.00 to 23.30. Tickets for the Hoppa cost £5 per adult and 50p per child one way. Children under 3 travel free. Tickets are available at the terminals or from the driver. If you're travelling from Terminal 4, take the Hoppa to terminal 1, 2 or 3, then take the free Heathrow Express to Terminal 4.

  • At the motorway roundabout, turn right if you are travelling eastbound, left if you are travelling westbound, onto the airport access road.
  • At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto the A4 Bath Road.
  • At the Harlington Corner traffic lights, turn left onto the A437 High Street Harlington.
  • Turn right into Brickfield Lane and the hotel is at the bottom of the road.

Food and drink available only from vending machine near reception. TV only works if you buy a remote control from reception (£5.00 for 24 hours, most of which you won't get during an overnight stay). Reception staff friendly, but variable. The washbasin tap leaked out of its back during our stay - the receptionist on duty in the morning seemed to have trouble understanding this when I reported it. Modular construction has left some gaps in places so that light leaks in from other rooms/shower area.

Outstanding friendly service from the duty manager and receptionist; punctual, polite and helpful transfer to the airport; and the best (and longest!) night's sleep I've had in years because the soundproofing is so good.

Expect to get what youve paid for and you wont be disappointed. Rooms are basic, clean pods - comfy bed, adequate bathroom facilities, pegs for clothes hanging and thats it but good for a night before airport departure and literally on Heathrow doorstep. We didnt take advantage of parking but it was well lit and secure. No noise from landing aircraft visible from window.
