Everything was very nice apart from the taxi the hotel booked for us. Instead of the £10 quoted, the driver charged us £18!
we were offered an upgrade for £35.00 which gave us a superior room, access to the executive lounge and a free buffet supper with alcoholic drinks and breakfast. If you are offered this facility take it,it is an absolute bargain. We will certainly use this hotel again.
we would defo recommend this hotel my friends were staying at the hilton but our room was alot igger and the atmosphere really relaxing....room service is not expensive either compared to others hotels.
We stayed one night at the Sheraton Skyline prior to flying out the next morning. From our greeting and parking through reception to our room everything was of the highest standard. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. It is by far the best airport hotel we have ever stayed in.
Despite being a very busy airport hotel with very high turnover and 24 hour business, rooms were very clean and well maintained, very well insulated from noise, and service standards clearly have a high priority. Breakfast was a bit expensive, but if you are hungry you get your money's worth.Despite it's location and business type, this still manages to feel like a genuine quality hotel.
I booked Sheraton Skyline for 2 days using gosimply.com. On the day of check in we went to the hotel at around 12:00 pm and were courteously checked in earlier eventhough the check in starts at 2:00 pm. The carpets in the corridor looked outdated. We were given a king size bed room. The room interior was very good and very spacious. The staff was very polite and courteous. The gym and swimming pool very clean and well maintained. The only downside was the slow draining bath, which meant that the water was knee deep when taking a shower.
Stayed overnight for flight the next day. Easy to find, lovely room and hotel, Hoppa service good with free local buses to Heathrow too. Nice to have the Starbucks too in the lobby. Would highly recommend.
speedy book-in and checkout, very pleasant room and absolutely fabulous bed (for sleeping in - jet-lag ++ !)
The service was very good and the experience was the one thing that took a lot of stress out of the trip. Our cats were welcomed and had excellent treatment. The hotel was very convenient for Heathrow (the most difficult airport to access) so there were no worries of being stuck in traffic, a short and inexpensive taxi journey to terminal 1 and we were on our way. For travelling from Cornwall with loads of luggage, with two cats as well, this is the superlative way to travel at reasonable cost.
Friendly but low key staff who were helpful at all times. Exceptionally comfortable and well decorated room with all amenities that we required. The receptionist was perfectly happy changing from my original booking for a double room to a twin. Transfers for the different terminals at the airport appeared to run very smoothly although as our flight had been changed to Terminal 4 we took a taxi to save time (arranged through the concierge) and had there been three of us travelling it would have saved us money too. In conclusion a great hotel to stay in.
Good hotel- thought the computer access with printer was great for airline check in and boarding passes. Good food options, comfortable rooms. Starbucks coffee shop was available which was good also. Parking for 5 days was brill- hastle free.
I just loved my stay at this hotel, the room was lovely and the bed was the most comfortable l have ever been in. Yes it could be expensive to eat everyday but there is a really nice restaurant/bar near by, l will certainly look forward too returning too it again in the future, but do look around for the bargains on line rather than paying full price at the hotel. 10/10 for me.
The hotel was excellent ,the rooms were big . The hotel staff was good and cordial, specially Mr.Kumar. The duty manager.
Sheraton Skyline Hotel is a very nice hotel. There no disappointments and the service is excellent. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, service is great, very friendly and polite staff, and all the other facilities seems great, even though we only tried the Club Lounge. The newly renovated pool area looks absolutely fantastic so next time I'll be bringning my swimming suite. Try the Sports Bar for food, it was excellent.
Close to the airport and car rental services. Great rooms - great bedding - excellent sleep.
I couldn't believe the value-for-money (I selected the 'mystery' option). Superb, extra large bed in a fabulous room. Extremely clean, spacious bathroom, work area, mini bar, comfy armchair, couldn't wish you anything more. Pool and bar area very impressive, although we weren't able to use it because of late arrival. Food on the expensive side, but very tasty and well served. All staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Well done Sheraton!
The biggest problem I had was with the Hoppa Bus service from Heathrow. Not only was the woman driver uncredibly rude to me and to other passengers, she then dropped me at the Sheraton Heathrow (I'd told her I was staying at the Skyline and wasn't aware there were two - when I saw the Sheraton sign I simply climbed out and she didn't advise me otherwise even though there were only about 8 people on the bus - it transpires that bus didn't even go to the Skyline Hotel). It was late at night, and I then needed to spend 9 pounds to catch a taxi to take me a mile back to the right hotel. It really put me off staying in this area as the transport staff are the rudest I have ever encountered. The check-in staff said they'd experienced this problem before.
You can get a taxi to terminal 3 pre arranged with hotel for £10 fixed price.
My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel, at Heathrow for only one night en route to Cyprus. We awoke next morning refreshed and enjoyed a continental breakfast before boarding our flight to Cyprus. The experience was even more enjoyable because the English branch of the family were able to meet with us in such pleasant surroundings. The staff were informative, tolerant (of the young children visiting) and helpful. They were very professional at all times.
Been coming back each weekend from work trips for the last 3 weekends. Just such a haven, so relaxing. The Hotel has a real chilled down vibe. I can potter off to the swimming (which is via the reception area) and when coming back the same way, with wet hair towel in hand and feel very relaxed and welcome. Brilliant rooms. I always request runway view rooms and the staff have always been able to accommodate me.
