Transfers to Heathrow Airport

For transfers to and from Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5 use the Heathrow Hoppa bus, which runs from 05.16 to 23.10, every 15 to 20 minutes. Additional charge applies; normally £5.00 per person, each way. For travel to and from Terminal 4 you must take the Heathrow Hoppa and then the Heathrow Express train, which runs every 15 minutes from 05.00 to 23.45, free of charge.
The car park provides transfers free of charge to terminals 1-3. If you are departing from Terminal 4 or 5, take the transfer to Terminal 1, 2 or 3 and catch the Heathrow Express (free of charge) to your departure terminal.
Parking Arrangements
Parking charges are covered for the duration of your stay as indicated at the time of booking. Additional days will be charged locally at either the hotel's or car park's standard daily rate, depending on which package is booked. Current daily rate for additional days parked at the hotel is £14 per day.

We did notice that the sound of the air traffic was quite loud, more than in other hotels we have used around Heathrow. The dining room looked rather down at heel.

It's the best priced package for a Heathrow hotel and parking. But the parking isn't easy ... you will need to drive all the way round the back of the hotel to park, but there is a door from there back to reception. The only car park security seems to be that you need a ticket to get out - it's not a patrolled "secure" parking facility like some of the specialist off-airport parking facilities. Recommended if you're on a budget and your car's not a prestige marque or model.

Trying to find a parking space was a nightmare and when we finally found a space it was very hard to get into it due to cars parked on the opposite kerb. Room was very musty as if it hadnt been used for a long time. We arrived around 3.30pm and wanted to start our holiday off with a drink at the bar but in the bar near reception they weren't selling draft beer and the upstairs bar didn't open until 5pm, so we also couldn't eat early - very disappointing. We went to the pub down the road and met several other people from the hotel also having a drink and a meal. The Staff on reception were very helpful and friendly though.

The fact that we had accommodation and parking for a week for the sum of £80.50 was very good value for money. Reception & bar areas were lovely however the bedroom was very tired looking and in need of a redec.

Found the hotel friendly, clean and comfortable. The only minus was the transfer to our terminal which meant a longer than expected bus and then a rail link. Luckily we were travelling light otherwise we would have struggled as my parter is disabled. The literature did not explain a double transfer if you are leaving from Terminal 4. On our return we took a taxi but it cost almost £20.00

Friendly and efficient staff in hotel - nice bar area serving good food until late. Rooms are fine with all facilities that you need. Coach transfer to airport terminal arrived on time and good value for money. Overall I would recommend this hotel

As a mum travelling on her own with a small baby the hotel was generally fantastic as the staff were so helpful. The only difficulty I had was finding a parking spot anywhere near reception...in the end I parked in the disabled parking as only then could i open the doors wide enough to get a car seat & baby out and be able to carry the car seat into reception - luckily the hotel said this was OK, but then I was given a hard time about it by the car park attendant.

This was the first time I have used Hotel Airport Parking and I would definately use Thistle again. Lovely accomodation, friendly staff and quick and easy airport transfers. No need for early starts and rushing to get to the airport on time, all for a similar cost to normal airport parking. Well worth it!

The noise overhead at night made it impossible to sleep. So while location/proximity and punctuality of bus/transfer was excellent, we did not manage to get any sleep the night before. Others should bear this in mind if they want to feel refreshed and relaxed prior to travel.

Shuttle bus to the airport was not agood expierence,difficult to store suitcases,also did not go into terminal 3 stopped on roadway.overall apoor service ataxi only cost £8 60 on return bus fare £8 00
