"The hotel was close to the airport with a bus transfer service. You had to pay for this though. Something I think should be included in the price of the hotel. When in NY this was a free service from the Days Inn. Also the room was very warm. Visiting in April I didnt think i'd need to have a fan blowing all night to keep us cool."

"Stayed the night before our holiday. Service was good, staff very helpful and the room clean and spacious. Used the car park too which meant our car was parked right in front of the main reception for 2 weeks. Needed exrtra days parking as had a cancelled flight on the way home, but this was no problem at all. would definately use again."

"Food and drink available only from vending machine near reception. TV only works if you buy a remote control from reception (£5.00 for 24 hours, most of which you won't get during an overnight stay). Reception staff friendly, but variable. The washbasin tap leaked out of its back during our stay - the receptionist on duty in the morning seemed to have trouble understanding this when I reported it. Modular construction has left some gaps in places so that light leaks in from other rooms/shower area."

"Hotel was comfortable and well located for the airport. Only slight grumble was that on checking in I had to ask for my parking voucher, I was expecting the hotel would have it ready for me. Having asked for the voucher it was quickly provided with no quibble. I was not aware of the £5 overnight parking charge at the hotel."

"A bit more of a walk from terminal 4 than we expexted, but not too far. Very smooth operation, check in easy, nice room. Very comfortable bed, a good nights sleep. A bit of noise from the doors banging as other people left thier rooms. Nice breakfast, lovely sausages. Not keen on doing my own toast tho' Staff very pleasant and polite. Check out just as easy. All in all A1"

"Room was small but clean and more than adequate as a stopover before a holiday. Great price for room and parking. Transfers to and from hotel were very easy and frequent. Staff were very helpful and friendly."

"On arrival there were no pleasantries from the hotel staff, no welcome, no noises of hope you have a pleasant stay etc. Just handed the door cards for entrance to the rooms. The same on signing out the following morning. Parking was excellent, we chose our parking space and that is exactly where the car remained, no one took the car keys from us, so there were no concerns as to anyone driving the car in our absence. The hotel hopper, run by National Express on the way to the airport was excellent, only needed to wait a couple of minutes for the bus and the driver was very helpful. Quite the opposite on return from the airport. Waited for over half an hour, the driver didn't stop at the designated stop and no sign of the driver giving any form of assistance."

"This hotel is not covered by the Heathrow Hoppa bus service, and so as part of their room deal, the hotel pays for a taxi to Heathrow - great. Not so great, however, is that the taxi journey back from Heathrow to the hotel is NOT covered (this fact is buried in the small print), and the taxi service that they give you the telephone number for (Millenium cars) is in fact an executive car service and so twice as expensive as a regular black cab, so take care!"

"This was not my best hotel experience, because while showering I slipped in the bath, banging my upper, left arm (either side of the elbow) on the side of the bath, and the back of my head on the end of the bath. My feet just shot out from under me on the slippery surface of the bath. The bruising on my arm is still black, and my head still feels sore when I brush my hair. Thank goodness I was facing the taps and fell backwards, not the other way round. The Receptionist was informed, and suggested I write a letter, which I did, and addressed it to the Manager, before leaving to catch my flight back to Australia. I suggested that rubber bath mats should be in the bathrooms. Showers over baths are a recipe for accidents if the bath is not slip-proof. Had I been an older person and possibly broke bones, the Hotel could be facing legal action. Hotel Ibis will not be on my list of favourite Hotels next time I visit London, and I shall make my friends aware when choosing their accommodation. Yours faithfully, Mrs. Joan Keefe"

"Excellent hotel. We were away for 15 nights and using this hotel and in effect starting the holiday a day earlier was cheaper than using one of the car park services! The food was a little expensive in the hotel but nothing you wouldn't expect."

"The room was clean and confortable but smaller than it looks in the picture ( what you see in the picture is what the hotel offer for a "normal rate" not for the price you pay through the web side). The dinning room was extremely expensive. the wake up service called me later than it was expected and the shuttle left one minute before time. In summary it s a good hotel for one or two nights but if you have an early flight, don t trust the wake up service and be careful with the shuttles departures."

"This hotel/parking arrangement suited us down to the ground as, arriving at a very late hour, we would not have benefitted from luxury accommodation. The taxi transfer both ways was excellent. We can't fault Master Robert for a one night stand!!"

"Had a break between returning to UK from Spain and our return home to New Zealand. It was totally relaxing, with excellent service from all the staff. Kids were well occupied with kids zone, internet and swimming pool. Wine selection was good (even had some from NZ) and the casual dining was excellent. Everything you'd expect from a quality French chain of hotels."

"We booked a family room for 4 which was perfectly adequate for the nights stay. Complimentary shampoo & shower gel were available together with tea and coffee making facilites - most welcome. Only criticism was the Hoppa Bus which turned up very late. Fortunately our party had left ample time to get to Terminal 5 but at the charges they make, the timetable should be kept to. No explanation or apology was offered for the delay. I fully apprecaite this has nothing to do with the hotel but the Hoppa bus is SUPPOSED to be servicing customers of the hotels!"

"Apart from a check-in problem (given a double-bed room when we'd booked a family room with two beds), the experience was great. Room was comfortable and perfectly adequate/good value for an airport hotel. The food was surprisingly good. A bit slow on the service but then it was a busy night. The staff (apart from a glacially slow and ultimately incorrect receptionist who gave us keys to a non-family room when that's exactly what we'd booked)were great. In fact when I asked one of the restaurant staff if there was a concierge to sort out my 'wrong' room, he (Jay) immediately went to the check-in desk to sort it out for me with a supervisor. I will definitely use Premier-Inn from now on. Its good value, good service, comfortable, the food is affordable & sensible with a good menu with something for everyone."

"contnd: ervisor. I also phoned hotel & receptionist said would investigate. Bus finally arrived at 6.05. Driver said "nothing to do with me- just come on". A bad end to the journey & miserable since put me very late to start 250 mile drive home. Had similar problem when I stayed at this hotel some years ago & have avoided since. Will do so again now!"

"Car was moved off site. on our return car would not start, radio stations changed! WHY? The hotel jump started the car but there was no way the battery was flat when we arrived after travelling 200miles.This has left us wondering what they used the car for! Needless to say we won't be booking with Raddison Edwardian again."

"We found convenient car parking easily and our check in was dealt with in a friendly and efficient way. Our room was comfortable and more than adequate for our brief stay. We ate in the bar and the food was very nicely presented and not too expensive (only downside was sport on the large tv in there). The conceirge booked us a taxi to transfer to the airport in the morning so we didn't need to hang around for the shuttle bus."

"We needed to drive right round to the back of the hotel in our search for a parking spot and in retrospect it would have been better for one of us to get out with the luggage at reception first. However check in was quick and friendly and we were given all the information we needed for the Hoppa bus. We had a pleasant meal in the Sports bar, but it was rather expensive for pub type food. The room was very spacious and beds comfortable, we would definitely Stay here again."

"Although reception were polite you felt they couldn't be bothered to answer your questions, bar staff rude and then they add service charge to the drinks you have stood and waited for while they finished there conversation, waitress raised her eyes when i enquired for a gluten free meal. No instructions given of how to find our car as we booked 8 days parking, we were given a leaflet that also had no directions. Returned to reception after holiday to ask about car and was told parking is nothing to do with them and staff made a dismissive wave to a lift and said level one. Went to level one still no signs had to walk through a car park not sure if it was the right carpark with all our cases finally saw car parking reception. when we said they were really hard to find they said everybody says that. Ridiculous prices £6 for a small glass of wine plus service charge on top. Staff made you feel that they were doing you a favour being there with the exception of the bell boys who were terrific."

"Easy to find and closely located to Heathrow. Sufficient facilites at the hotel but also close to Feltham with a few bars and restaurants. Transfer to the airport by bus was easy £2.20 single fare, approximately 15 minutes travel time. Return we got a taxi back which was £25.00, was a little more than expected. Return of car was an easy process. Overall does a good job for the price."

"Unfortunately, I stayed the night of the big snowfall in London, and the hotel was overrun with people. I was unable to get a meal because of too many people with too few staff to cope. The transfer bus service couldn't even make it to the hotel because of the conditions and so we (passengers) had to traipse through the icy conditions to get to the hotel and from the hotel to the bus the next morning. However, in a normal situation I would stay at a Travelodge again."
