Al Dhabi Lounge reviews

The images on your webpage suggest that there is a gymnasium and spa in the lounge, but when asking for directions, I was met with blank stares by the reception staff, and disappointment. The lounge itself was ok, only a few showers that needed queueing for, but comfortable. If I had to transit through AUH again I would go back.

You need to allow at least ten minutes (at brisk walking pace) for the journey between terminals (we landed in terminal 3) but it was well worth it. Although we initially thought the price was a bit steep, once we had a shower in a spotless and spacious bathroom (toiletries provided), helped ourselves to the buffet and drinks (included), used wifi and enjoyed the peacefulness of the lounge, we felt the payment had been worth it. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very attentive. Even the fact that the wrong date was on our booking slip (our mistake) wasn't a problem and was rectified with a smile. Only a sleeping pod/dimmed sleeping area and a discounted children's rate would have improved our experience. Maybe some current newspapers in English (from NY/London etc) would have been a nice touch too. Some lounges also offer massages.

Staff, food, shower facilities etc could not have been better. After a long flight it was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy airport. I booked two three hour slots. The only very slight reservation I have is that the chairs sofas etc could have been softer, but overall no real grumbles

Somewhere nice, clean, tidy and quiet whilst waiting for you flight. Good range of food and drink. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

After travelling for over 24 hours , the lounge was a welcomed experience. The bathrooms were clean and the seating area was very welcoming. The staff were friendly and they made the experience for two very tired travellers even better. The food was a welcomed surprise with different treats throughout the lounge. We would definitely consider using the lounge again . Thank you

lovely shower to freshen up, free alcohol and food and the food was nice. There is also a smoking room if you smoke. Highly recommend for a long haul flight. Make sure you book in advance on the internet though as we didnt do this on the return leg and it cost an extra 32 pounds to pay then and their

Food selection excellent, good bar service, peaceful and top service as you expect in Abu Dhabi. Used lounge on way out and back from Australia and was just so let down on return that ALL showers were empty but had been used without being cleaned so I had to alert staff then sit and wait10 mins for one to be cleaned. Customer service manager immediately took care of it but I was disappointed as not their usual standard unfortunately.

This is a really nice lounge set over around five rooms with a staffed bar, eating area, lounge, kids zone and a business area. The whole lounge is spacious and quiet and the food and drink appeared to be good quality. I used the showers whilst transiting from London to Brisbane and they were excellent with complementary toiletries and towels. There were plenty of power points and free wifi. I would definitely use this lounge if I am unlucky enough to ever find myself in Abu Dhabi airport again!

A lovely place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the airport. The ladies' room was really pleasant!

The lounge was great , lovely hot shower with fresh towels ,fresh tea coffe and lots of food on offer .nice comfy chairs ,we will definitely use them again .fantastic vaue for ,money .

Best thing we ever did on a long trip from australia with a 4 hour stopover, excellent service quiet and comfortable would highly recommend this lounge, great value for money

I had flown over 16 hours by the time, I arrived at Abu Dhabi and with another 9 hours travelling left after the 4 hour layover the lounge was a piece of heaven. The showers were hot and comfortable and the food and drink were plentiful. Lots of comfortable seating and power points for laptops etc. Without doubt the best lounge Ive been in.

Well worth the money, very welcoming and relaxing way to spend time between flights. It can get busy but people are in and out all the time so it's not a problem to get a seat. Would recommend booking if you have a few hours between flights.

Nice chilled environment with good quality facilities. Selection of food on offer was alright but great free drinks in the bar. Toilets v clean and showers available as well.

Peaceful and quiet - there are many rooms including a business centre that guests can avail of - food and bar well stocked although we had another 8 hour flight to look fwd to so didn't go mad at the bar. Showers are hotel standard -excellent water pressure toiletries bathrobe and towels provided and immaculately clean- as we had such a long stop over could take full advantage of facilities and must admit that the lounge was the best thing about the Abu Dhabi stopover !

Easy to book easy to find. Good food and service. And most of all away from all the annoying things about airports.

So nice to escape the busy duty free areas and relax before boarding the flight. Food and drink - great availabilty. Only (slightly) negative comment - it would have been completely perfect if the windows were clean so you could see outside. Would recommend to anybody to use this lounge.

No sofas to put your feet up on.Lots of high back arm chairs.There is a childrens area,but we were unlucky that a family decided to use the quiet lounge we were in,to let there toddlers run riot!!!Food was good,staff attentive,asking if we would like more drinks etc.
