The Styal Lounge reviews

Our flight was 7 am and we were able to go to the lounge from 4 which was helpful for us, staff were pleasant and facilities good, even had newspapers and magazines to read. Just wish we could have toast:o) Would recommend and will use again.

The styal lounge is really good way to start your holiday and it is really good value for money, i have never used anything like this before but from now on i will be because it gave me time to relax and get away from the busy shops and bars.The first thing i will do when booking my next holiday is to book the styal lounge as well.Thankyou for such a good experince see you next year..........

No toasting machine, no croissants or pastries and no healthy low fat option e.g fresh fruit salad rather than a bowl of tired apples.

We have used this lounge before. It was very busy and it was difficult to find two seats together as people were putting bags on chairs. There was also an individual talking loudly on a mobile phone for a long time

The lounge was a great relaxing chilled out start to our holiday,a great range of drinks,some nibbles and snacks,newspapers etc,much better than been downstairs in the terminal getting ripped off for overpriced drinks and food,just do'nt tell everyone!!!

We have used the lounges over the past few years but unfortunately, this last visit in January 2010 having been on route to New York via Continental Airlines had to spend in excess of 2 hours getting through check-in and security, found ourselves with only approximately 20 minutes lounge time before leaving for the gate to allow extra security check. Given the problems in the USA,we did however previously enquired with Continental and also Manchester Airport and our Travel Advisor whether or not additional time was required for any additional security checks and were advised that normal check-in times were sufficient. Unfortunately, check-in time was not normal, of which, it took 2 hours; hence we did not get the value for money and noboday including lounges had any warning of the above delays when booking on websites. New York (Newark) the Presidents Lounge in Terminal C was excellent with plenty of room and seating including all the exquites of an Excecutive Lounge. We could not fault their service. A service which we have come to expect and appreciate. Suggestion: Perhaps when booking online the Airport Lounges who are in a position to know of possible problems/delays to circumstances beyond their control could advise their lounge customers accordingly.

Over crowded, no seats available, not much variety of snacks. Overall not good value for money. Wont be booking into this lounge again.

The room was stuffy. Just bread rolls to eat. Danish pastries would have been a nice addition. Drinks service fine. Room smaller than expected. Seats not very comfy. Was noisy and crowded for the first hour, with tables littered. Probably wouldn't return.

Very limited on the snacks other lounges used have fresh sandwiches and better snacks other wise clean and tidy.

Overall very good, however it would be good if the toater was re-introduced so visitors could have something more to eat
