We have just been advised that Watson’s Ayr Park, one of our most popular (and GoSimply Award-winning!) car parks, is moving location as of the 9th of June.

The new site is just 100 yards down the road from their current location, so you’ll still find them easily using the directions we provide.  If you’ve visited Watson’s Ayr Park before, though,  please make note of this change so you can find the new entrance!

And remember, in addition to the great service provided by Watson’s, we also offer three more options for parking at Prestwick Airport:  North Long Stay Parking, which is just over a mile from the airport, and the on-airport Long and Short Stay Car Parks – both within walking distance of the terminal building.

Johannesburg is ready to welcome tens of thousands of visitors with open arms for the 2010 World Cup.

Extensive works at OR Tambo International Airport and the Coca-Cola Park Arena have been completed in readiness for the 2010 Fifa World Cup. The Confederations Cup on the 14th June this year between Bafana and Iraq is being seen by many as a dress rehearsal that will test the enhanced facilities at both the airport and venue.

A major Warner Bros picture ‘Clash of the Titans’ is scheduled to be filmed on location in Tenerife between 15th May and 3rd June. The main locations are the Teide National Park and along the coast in the districts of Icod, Buenavista del Norte and Guía de Isora.

So, if you were considering a last minute deal to Tenerife before the summer rush take our advice and book yourself a lounge at Tenerife Airport. Who knows – you could be relaxing with the paper and a nice cup of Joe when all of a sudden Ralph Fiennes taps you on the shoulder and asks “Is this seat taken?”. Cue a full scale debate with Mr Fiennes as to whether the remake will be better than the 1981 classic – or perhaps he’ll simply make polite conversation about the state of the world economy. Either way – we think it’s a great opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the beautiful people!

The No. 1 Lounge serving Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal is proving a favourite with travellers, resulting in only a few spaces left for the first part of May 2009.

The lounge opened earlier this month and has quickly proven to be a popular choice for air travel passengers flying out of Gatwick.  Between the 3rd and 9th of May the lounge has almost reached its capacity, so if you’re thinking of booking your stay at this great new lounge it’s a good idea to act now!

Luton Airport is to introduce a £1 charge for dropping off passengers at its terminal building this summer. The airport introduced a similar fee last year for the use of its trolleys and for the clear plastic bags used to take liquids through security.

To avoid the £1 drop off fee when it comes in to force, passengers could be dropped off at the Mid term parking car park to catch the shuttle bus to the terminal. Nic Horton, the development manager for Luton Airport said: “Making a small charge reminds drivers of the ten-minute time allocation and keeps the traffic flowing. “By offering a choice of options we can provide an airport experience to suit the needs of all our passengers.” A date for the introduction of the drop off fee at Luton Airport has not yet been confirmed.
