Luton Airport Mid Term Parking

London Luton Airport, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU2 9QT

Mid Term parking is located on the main approach to the airport, making it one of the most convenient options for parking at Luton.

arrival

The Luton Mid Term car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system, so it is essential to enter the correct vehicle registration when making your booking. We recommend that you bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation with you.

Drive up to the entry barrier and press the button for a ticket. Your vehicle registration and booking reference will be printed on your ticket. If the system fails to recognise your vehicle, please take a ticket from the entry barrier. Follow the signs to the nearest available spaces, park your vehicle and make a note of where you have parked, then make your way to the nearest bus stop.

Please note that the car park recommends you arrive at least 30 minutes before your earliest required airport check-in time.

departure

Collect your vehicle and drive to the exit barrier. Place the ticket you acquired upon entry into the exit column, and the barrier should automatically raise, allowing you to exit.

If the exit column display shows a price, press the intercom button and quote your booking reference number.

If for any reason the barrier does not raise, press the intercom button and car park staff will assist you. Please explain that you have pre-booked and quote your booking reference number or booking confirmation.

If you have stayed in the car park longer than the amount of time you pre-booked, you will have to pay the extra amount before you go. The amount owed will show in the exit column display and you can pay by credit or debit card.

The car park was very full and we were forced to find a space at the very end of the car park. This was an area were there were no lane number indicators which could make it difficult to find your vehicle upon your return.

I was very surprised not to be allowed to take an unopened cup of tea, with lid, onto the bus for my drive home. I pointed out it was no different to the full bottle Of gin in my bag as I would not be opening it on the bus.

No problems in entering and leaving. Good quality buses running reasonably frequently even at 4am. Good balance between price and proximity to terminal.

Ideal for short trips. It is close to the airport - trip only takes 5 or so minutes and the coaches do not take long. The signs in the car park could be a bit clearer but all was very straight forward. Book in advance for a bargain.

Everything was great until we got to the barrier, even though pre-booked & paid online we were still being asked for payment before barrier would lift, so pressed the assistance button and waited forever for somebody to answer, cars behind us started tooting their horns. All you need after a day of travelling. We got out eventually and home to bed, apart from that all else was very good.

The Mid Term Car park surface in places was not so good. It was better when I parked there years ago as a Vauxhall Employee. Could do with a few more holes filling in in places

Everything was OK. The buses were reasonably frequent. The parking was OK. Not a large park so it was easy to find the car again.
