Arrival Procedure
The Luton Long Term car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system, so it is essential to enter the correct vehicle registration when making your booking. We recommend that you bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation with you. Drive up to the entry barrier and press the button for a ticket. Your vehicle registration and booking reference will be printed on your ticket. If the system fails to recognise your vehicle, please take a ticket from the entry barrier. Follow the signs to the nearest available spaces, park your vehicle and make a note of where you have parked, then make your way to the nearest bus stop. Please note that the car park recommends you arrive at least 30 minutes before your earliest required airport check-in time.
Departure Procedure
Collect your vehicle and drive to the exit barrier. Place the ticket you acquired upon entry into the exit column, and the barrier should automatically raise, allowing you to exit.
If the exit column display shows a price, press the intercom button and quote your booking reference number.
If for any reason the barrier does not raise, press the intercom button and car park staff will assist you.
If you have stayed in the car park longer than the amount of time you pre-booked, you will have to pay the extra amount before you go. The amount owed will show in the exit column display and you can pay by credit or debit card.

Transfers are available, on-demand, 24 hours a day.

Disabled Facilities
Designated parking bays are available. A Special Assistance intercom enables disabled customers to call the NCP desk in the terminal for free assistance. Shuttle buses are fully accessible, and drivers will assist disabled customers in boarding and disembarking the buses on request.
Vehicle restrictions
No motor homes, lorries, trailers or caravans are permitted, even if multiple spaces are booked.

Everything went as expected. Entry was simple, parking was easy, transfer was prompt and comfortable. Getting the bus back was easy (remember to note which bus stop you need and which area you have parked at ) exit was simple without any queuing or difficult questions. Would definitley use again.
Parking is quite close to airport entrance hence short bus transfer. Car park is a bit desolate with overgrown plants and weeds in areas, but it does what it's meant to do.
No problems, did not deal with any staff apart from bus driver, system seemed to work well. Car park further away from the airport than internet map suggested but well-signed.
The car park was so easy to find. Once we were in the airport, we just followed the signs to the long term carpark. I was greeted by name by an automated ticket dispenser and we got our ticket. There were plenty of spaces. The bus was just pulling away as we unpacked our car but another came about 10 minutes later. The journey to the terminal took about 5 minutes. When we arrived back it was the same but in reverse. It was dark but the parking area was well lit and we found our car easily, having written down the area number where the car was parked. We were able to leave the carpark without any problems. The only possible downside was that there was no staff present except the bus driver. I would feel confident about using this carpark again.

Had previously used off site parking. This was closer so saved time but we had to carry our suitcases a little further.
Liked the automatic no plate recognition on arrival but this didn't work on exit which would have been slick - we needed to insert the barrier ticket we received on arrival. Bus driver a bit officious on the way to airport and lacked any charm! Demanded we sit, but this didn't seem to be needed on way back. Busy road into airport departure gate The carpark stands were gravel with tarmac roads.

Didn't realise how far away from airport the long term carparking was. I also expected the shuttle bus to be more frequent. Having said that it was well signposted, easy to find a parking space, and only had to wait 5 or 10 minutes for the shuttle bus to pick us up to take us to the airport deoparture section.
The car park was convenient and we would use again. We are still uncertain about the instructions from the A602 to the car park, and will give that another try next time.
When we arrived we were not completely sure we were at the correct carpark. Thankfully there is only one long term car park at Luton. The car park will need resurfacing in the near future and the spaces are tight.

How such a busy and profitable airport can have such appalling facilities is astounding. The car-park was poorly lit, road surface horrendous and had to wait 10 minutes for the car park security to answer the phone to take the reference number. UK airports have become an international embarrassment.
only a short distance from the airport, good value for money, worked very smoothly.
Liked the automatic number plate recognition system. we wrote tje location of the car on the bvack of the ticket and surprisingly located our vehicle trait away. nice to have many locATION POINTS IN A RELATIVELY SMALL PARK.
I was little confused, your e-mailed instructions said on leaving to put ticket in exit gate. However the instruction at the bus stops said not to put the ticket in and use the intercom. I used the intercom, without problem, as I wasn't sure which was right!
We found that the number recognition did not work on the way out and i had to runmmage around for the reference number which was in the boot and speak to a superintendant on the intercom . Potholes were lethal!
whilst I have used this park on other occassions the internal roads are now in a very poor condition, indeed the Access bus had to drop us off some way from where our car was parked. Not only that the potholes were deep enough to cause vehicle damage, they need repairing!
