We spent extra and arranged for our car to be delivered direct to the airport on our return. As we were asked to ring once we had picked up our luggage we had a 10 minute wait by which point the coach had left so not sure how much time we saved.
The problem I had twice (on 2 times I used the car park) is that the gate does not open on the way out, as if I didn't pay or book the parking, so I have to contact staff who then checks my details and opens the gate.
This is the second time I've used Airparks, and both times the services has been excellent. Will definitely be using them again.
It was a good service,I had to listen very carefully to what they were telling me, as the accents were difficult to understand. my heating knob was broken, why they have to turn on heaters just to move cars a few yards, I don't understand, unless it was for a longer journey?. other than that you seem to run an organised company. Regards John Watts
I am scheduled to fly to Mercia (Spain) in December 2010. Unfortunately Ryanair will not be flying from Luton at that time so I will have to find another parking facility at Stansted. I very much doubt if it will a patch on Airparks.
Easy to find from Oxfordshire. Buses punctual, efficiently run company. Knowledgeable staff and good value for money.
Left in plenty of time, however as we got closer the instructions became more vague. And after driving around Luton for an hour we realised we weren't going to make our flight, let alone find Airparks so had to use Luton's on-site parking to ensure we made check in. Turns out our instructions were different to that of others in our party so thanks, but no thanks Airparks! Had to fork out twice for parking costing us as much as another flight. Total nightmare.
Service was great but at a price found on site parking for same cost after booking .
Please signpost Airparks immediately off Junction 10a on the M1 and continue to signpost at the first roundabout. It's not until you are on the B road that you finally come across any Airparks sign! We ended up in downtown Luton having input your postcode in Google maps almost missing our flight!!
When I left my car the service was great, however when I arrived to pick up my car I had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes, reason given was they had been so busy they did nt havetime to get my car ready , I was not the only one to have to wait around...... Poor service
All good. Bus driver on the way back was a bit surly but here we are all jolly coming back from holiday and he's carting us about - can't blame him really. We gave some complicated instructions on how to open the car which staff handled with ease, instructions to find the place were fine, price was fine. The only other thing is that the office looks a bit ramshackle from outside but if that keeps the costs down that's fine too.
Check-in was very easy. Yes, a small distance from the airport but we knew that beforehand. Coach was clean & comfortable. We had our car delivered to the airport upon arrival back & cannot fault them for their service. If flying from Luton Airport again, I would definately use them.
I'd never done this before and had some doubts - but I couldn't have been more wrong. It's easy, friendly, safe and saves you a lot of money. Simple!
meet and greet in other airports thats both ways but for some reason at luton its only one way -You have to park at luton airparks and take a tranfer bus to the airport. (was quick tho) -on your return they meet you with your car as youd expect. to get a meet and greet both ways at luton you have to ask for A reverse meet n greet too (Duuuuh!)
Hi, I booked a place in the airparks car park at Slip End Luton. The vehicle was left there Tuesday morning the 15th of June and picked up Friday afternoon on the 18th of June. All seemed fine and there were no problems with the parking..however on my journey north on the M1 my car began making a strange noise and the steering was vibrating...this got progressively worse and due to my concern I pulled off the motorway onto a slip road. Upon inspecting the vehicle I noticed small metal parts on one rear wheel, using the vehicle tool kit I checked the wheel nuts and found all four were loose. None of the other wheels were loose only this one wheel. I have had no work carried out on the car, the car was fine when driving to Luton with no noise or vibration. I can only conclude that while it was in the care of Airparks someone tampered with the wheel nuts on the one rear wheel. This could have resulted in the wheel coming off and my loosing control of the vehicle. I regard this as an extremely serious situation, and potentially very dangerous. I invite your comment on the above. Regards J.K. Jones FH 07 VOG black Isuzu rodeo.
We took the transfer bus to the airport which was quick and easy. We upgraded to get our car delivered to the airport on our return which it duly was promptly. Very good service :)
Reception and handover of vehicle was efficient and friendly Bus transfer ok However on return to Luton at 01.00 in the morning on a very cold early hours I was left waiting on the pavement for over 40 minutes!!having paid £38 EXTRA !! For a valet and delivery to terminal service I had to call three times over 40 minutes each time being told by Dot that the car would be with me in 15 - 20 minutes when I challenged why the 15 -20 minutes was not accuarte as I had already waited 40 minutes I was met by an un sympathetic "we're busy"
We were about to hand our car keys over when my husband realised he had left his passport at home. He had to rush back to Milton Keynes and make it back again in time before check in closed. Thanks to Airparks, who drove him to the airport using our own car, rather than waiting for the next transfer bus, he got there just in time! We paid £20 for the privilege but, all considered, it was well worth it. We always use Airparks as they have proven to be secure, reliable and always the cheapest.
Pleased with the service however putting luggage into available space on bus can sometimes be problematical . Should only have the same number of passengers as available seats.
Parking was easy to find and also meant that one did not need to endure traffic congestion heading past. The service was friendly and efficient. We waited for about 10 minutes for the coach and the transfer to and from the airport was excellent. I would definitely consider using this service again.
