Better than expected experience with the new facilities, minus the fact the car key got stuck in the machine when we returned and we were somewhat delayed until key was recovered.

We found it extremely difficult to locate the park site partly due to road closures on the motorwyas exie ramps at 4.30am. It took us 1.5 hours to locate the correct road and then only by going to the airport and asking one of the parkingfor directions which were direct. Richard handisides

shame the bus stops in the airport aren't a bit bigger to cope with the torrential rain on arrival, but that's not really in your hands - excellent service, thanks very much!

After leaving the terminal at 01:00 hours and joining the queue at Bay 12, we waited almost an hour for the coach to arrive. In this time other flights arrived and the queue got longer and longer. Fortunately the weather was dry and calm although somewhat chilly. Various people made calls to Airparks to check progress. When one coach eventually arrived,we were fortunately able to board, but many people were left waiting. Our incoming flight had been delayed, not an unusual event surely. Do Airparks keep a check on arrival times and resource their operations accordingly?

Transfers between park and airport are very slow. No flexibility in timing as there is with other car parks. the automatic machine would not recognise my booking. The member of staff present was very friendly and helpful and booked the car in from his computer in the office. What would have happened if no one had been around ? It is a definite MINUS against Airparks that you have automated everything WITHOUT reducing the price of parking.

I have used the Slipend facilities several times, however this time everything was computerised, very little human contact. the parking lanes were all full and no one was emptying them. After waiting for about half an hour I was advised by what seemed to be the only person actually working to park my car behind in wall at the back of the lot in a line and they(the staff) would attend to it later. This however meant I did not have a lane box to leave my car key but it was handed in to a lady, the only other person manning the station. Iwas told I would have to check in at the other station on my return. However on my return there was no person to assist except the driver of the transfer bus, who was a great help and advided as my ticket did not register in the checking out machine I would have to check with the office where I had left my key with thelady mentioned above. One enquiring at that office it was only by luck I saw my key on the to of a pile of keysin a box, obviously not moved since I leaft it. I was told my car would be where I left it, which was the case but by this time it was buried deep behind 5 new lanes of cars. The next hour was spent recovering my vehicle with the help of two attendents who took for ever to find the keys to all the cars in front of mine. I was even asked to help find keys to the surrounding cars. NO one in the office was at all concerned giving the opinion this was a common experience. I was delayed by more than an hour and not one person apologised to me. This experience was horrendous and I will never use this facility again. My apologies for the delay in answering your questionairre, I have been very busy with my work and not been at the office for a long time.
