Arrival Procedure
The Luton Short Term car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system, so it is essential to enter the correct vehicle registration when making your booking. We recommend that you bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation with you. Drive up to the entry barrier and press the button for a ticket. Your vehicle registration and booking reference will be printed on your ticket. If the system fails to recognise your vehicle, please take a ticket from the entry barrier. Follow the signs to the nearest available spaces, park your vehicle and make a note of where you have parked, then make your way to the nearest bus stop. Please note that the car park recommends you arrive at least 30 minutes before your earliest required airport check-in time.
Departure Procedure
Return to your vehicle, drive to the exit barrier and insert the ticket you were issued upon arriving. If you have not overstayed your pre-booked time, the barrier will automatically raise. If any overstay charge is applicable, it will be displayed on the exit column and can be paid at this point using a debit or credit card. If your vehicle was not recognised at arrival and/or your registration number is not printed on your ticket, please press the intercom for assistance and quote your booking reference.

Easy transfer from parking to departures very early in the morning with the added bonus of booking in advance on line to achieve a reasonable saving.
negotiating the route to the terminal is difficult and unsatisfactory in poor weather. Poor signage which does not help.
n as i had never used this car park it was not clear as to how i would know that i would have no difficulties on my return - lack of general information and all rather undersigned but would use again
Being able to park so close to the airport was a joy! Straight through customs out the door and into your car - can't ask for more. Great parking and efficient customer service through the gate. Excellent.
This is quicker and far more convenient than valet parking. No waiting for a driver to turn up with your car and fantastic customer service (our return flight was seriously delayed) which is more than we can say about the airline staff...
With the horrendous traffic situation at Luton, short-term parking time saving is wasted with the vast amount of queing to try to get into the short-term car park itself. Luton airport planners have created a massive bottleneck due to the new network to allow them to make £1 - 10 mins drop off. As this entrance is shared initially with the short-term park road, with cars stopping to avoid the charges and traffic lights now on the roundabout you have a ludicrous situation. There are no wardens to ensure people do not stop in dangerous places and it can take over 1 hour (my colleague came via the M1) to get through. I came through the airport estate and it took me 27 mins! IF the short term charges were increased it would not be worth the hassle.
Flexible, quick and easy - great service all round - would recommend and use again.
No viable alternative available. Therefore we are at the mercy of the airport operators unless you wish to park a long way away and walk in the rain. Luton Airport is beginning to look like a money grabbing machine with minimal service for what you pay. Cant think of another airport in the world that charges to drop off a passenger not even at the terminal but near it. Somebody help save us from the idiot who came up with that idea.
I think the short term parking is perfect if you're travelling alone and have a late night flight. It's well lit and really near the terminal. It was very easy with the reference number and I would say well worth the slightly higher price for peace of mind.
arrived at luton found short term car park no problem parked up plenty of spaces downside was trying to find away across to the airport which ever way you went there seemed to be a barrier and you had to drag a suitcase up or down a kerb this was our first time at luton now we no the drill it will be a piece of cake there is a need for signs if you are parked on the far side of car park there you go i have had my whinge.
You can walk to the airport from the car park, but this is not covered so if the weather is inclement it would not have been as good an experience.
No waiting, no coaches and no hassle. Just a short walk to the airport. Excellent.
We were confused on arrival. WE knew to go into the yelloe car park but confused about whether taking a ticket from the machine meant we would have to pay again. We had to ask in the airport how to pay and they directed us to the machines. Would be helpful to have this information when we booked. Parkin was fine, plenty space and well-signposted. We did not have any contact with staff as we were early in the am, so no-one to ask.We had no transfers.
I paid £70 for 5 days and somebody else on the same trip as me told me that they had found the similar parking facilities for only £35
Great for access. Only a few minutes walk to terminal. I had a problem when exiting car park at 10pm as there was a delay in someone answering the intercom so I could provide my exit code. This was dispite me being the only car using the intercom.
we had no contact with customer sevices, the short term is the quickest being adjacent to airport and is used for this reason alone
The written instructions refer to a desk in the terminal which was not present in the evening and the overhead signs also refer to it so this needs changing. Finally informed by a car rental staff member that it was necessary to take the car to the barrier and speak to the operator. Unfortunately, in the dark and torrential rain, the small button with a telephone symbol on it was almost invisible - by the time we found it, the drivers side of the car was soaked. The system needs a lot of improvement
At the exit the line was engaged and had to wait 3 minutes with a large queue of cars for someone to answer and let me out
Very straightforward and easy from booking through to arrival and departure. No complaints or issues at all and I will use this facility again. How about a discount or loyalty scheme for regular users?
Easy to find, plenty of car parking spaces, easy tp park and just 5 minutes stroll to the departure lounge! On arrival back into England it is easy to find the car parking desk to validate the parking ticket and no queues, so straight out to the car park and away!! What more could you want?!
