Short Term (also known as Yellow) Parking is the premium parking service at Luton Airport. No transfer is necessary, just use the covered walkway to reach the terminal.

The Luton Short Term car park operates an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system, so it is essential to enter the correct vehicle registration when making your booking. We recommend that you bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation with you.

Drive up to the entry barrier and press the button for a ticket. Your vehicle registration and booking reference will be printed on your ticket. If the system fails to recognise your vehicle, please take a ticket from the entry barrier. Follow the signs to the nearest available spaces, park your vehicle and make a note of where you have parked, then make your way to the nearest bus stop.

Please note that the car park recommends you arrive at least 30 minutes before your earliest required airport check-in time.

Collect your vehicle and drive to the exit barrier. Place the ticket you acquired upon entry into the exit column, and the barrier should automatically raise, allowing you to exit.

If the exit column display shows a price, press the intercom button and quote your booking reference number.

If for any reason the barrier does not raise, press the intercom button and car park staff will assist you. Please explain that you have pre-booked and quote your booking reference number or booking confirmation.

If you have stayed in the car park longer than the amount of time you pre-booked, you will have to pay the extra amount before you go. The amount owed will show in the exit column display and you can pay by credit or debit card.

Connected to the terminal building by a covered walkway, there are dedicated Blue Badge parking bays at the front of the car park and a Special Assistance Help Point is available. Blue Badge holders can also have their first 60 minutes of parking for free. Customers who wish to claim the free 60 minutes are required to leave their parking clock in the vehicle and take their badge to the Priority Parking Office for validation. Please be aware, though, that staying longer than 60 minutes will result in the full cost from first arrival being charged.

Directions from the M1: Leave the motorway at junction 10, following signs for the airport, and take the A1081, Airport Way. At the first roundabout, the Kidney Wood roundabout, take the second exit, staying on the A1081 Airport Way. At the second roundabout, go straight on onto the A505 Airport Way. Carry on over the railway bridge. At the third roundabout, the airport roundabout, take the third exit, Airport Way. Make your way under the bridge, at the forth roundabout, take the fourth exit and take the left hand lane to Short Term car park.

Needed an on-line service to leave the car somewhere whilst travelling abroad, gosimply made booking straight forward and all that was meant to happen - did happen. I would have liked to be presented with more about savings on the product cost as I think it was full whack - but for a last minute booking there is no real gripe in this case.

Very convinient ...However, this is the second time I have stayed in the short stay car park and on both occassions I have been unable to exit automatically. On both occassions i was presented with a request for payment running into the hundreds. A call on the buzzer gets me through to an operator who requests the booking ref. Checks eventually reveal that I have pre paid and the barrier is raised. This does not take long but does seem to be a process failure where my car is recognised going in but not going out? Apart from that I would recommend staying at the short term car park.

The key problem with the service is that, while the car is recognised on the way in, I can never just leave without speaking to the operator which takes time.

The surface of the car park was a bit rough with loose gravel and pot holes. The barrior didn't recognise that we had pre-paid but that was sson remedied by speaking on the intercom to an attendant. We appreciated being able to walk to the terminal in minutes rather than be a 20 minute tranfer away.

All went well and park near to the airport. Got the ticket with our reg no. when we got in but on the way out they want us to pay £108 and rang the intercom they ask for the booking ref no. remember to keep your booking ref no.

As stated in my summary , luton short term car park was excellent value. I must add that I think the car park surface is a disgrace and has been this way for some time . Most likely not your companys problem but none the less someone needs to pay attention to this . Lastly and also an ongoing problem the number plate recognition does not work when leaving the car park , this is also a problem not alone with your company but with others that I have used in the past while using this car park . All in all I will continue to use your company as long as the excellent value remains, Keep up the good service . thank you .

Obliged to park a long way from airport. Had pre-paid online, but on exiting the barrier display requested £144. Why? Had to press button to speak to a human being & give booking reference number. Short Term, get your act together.

It was quick to use as the Automatic Number Plate Recognition worked well and we found a parking spot easily. It is a short five minute walk to the airport terminal. There is no worry about waiting for a coach transfer. The only slight fault is that upon exit our ticket was not recognised. We had to push the button for help. A guy answered quickly. He was friendly and helpful and we were soon let out. Judging from other cars, everyone had this experience upon exit. I would have thought that the exit would be easy to automate. I expected more trouble with the ANPR upon arrival but this was a dream. Still, time only mattered upon arrival not exit.
