I was met with a welcoming smile at the reception, and from then on treated like a queen, with every attention paid to all my needs and questions. Will definitly be using again, it made my 4 hour layover a pleasure rather than something to be endured.

The overall experience was pleasing. Being able to shower during my stopover was very good and helped revive a flagging spirit. The food was rather limited particularly for specialised diets. On my visit on 18th November, which was later in the day, the selections were distinctly lesser with some areas empty of food, notably in the dessert section. The internet access was quite troublesome as it was not to be able to switch to different languages and not being able to read or understand Cantonese I was unable to use many websites. I ended up with my iPhone logging on to the airport WiFi signal. For the reasons stated I can't go overboard with my review of the service but it was generally a satisfactory experience and I would certainly use the service again on future transits through Hong Kong and felt like it was quite good value for money.

The travellers lounge Hong Kong was a welcome break. The lounge is large and offers a great range of refreshments and reading material. The only down side is the toilet is located outside the lounge and used by the general public. The computers were plentiful, and always available and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming.

It was far more comfortable than spending 4 hours in crowds waiting for connecting flight to Hanoi.

The lounge (West Wing) is a refuge from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong airport but the lounge has few other benefits. There are no dedicated toilets, the showers (located elsewhere) were not available and to cap it all the lounge is very difficult to find and their was a dearth of English language newspapers. The food is limited, at least it was when I was there. It may just about be worthwhile booking if you do so at a discount rate and spend your full allotted time there but otherwise you may be better off finding refuge in the noisier but more economical airport itself and its numerous restaurants.

When making a booking there should be guidance to explain that one lounge is far away from the main area so that visitors have the option of booking the other one, which i would have done in this case. I arrived at approx 05.30 and left at 06.30, when I left there was still hot food waiting to be served and so the choice I had was very limited. I felt that the area was pleasant but I ust felt that it is not of value.

Nice lounge easy to fing very comfortable. Staff efficient and polite. Food and drink good. The toilets are in the main airport area none by the showers .The shower area was cramped and the facilities to dry hair and do make up far too cramped.

Any that has been to Hong Kong Airport knows it is immense, unfortunately the lounge isn't well signposted, made worse that other pay lounges are clearly labelled. The lounge is clean and quiet with reasonable showers. Biggest complaint is the quality of food and lack of alcoholic beverages other than local beer.
