The staff are polite and helpful. Drinks are served from a bar, the service was not especially quick but the lounge was busy. The choice of food and snacks was poor in comparison to other lounges I have used but what was provided was of adequate quality. I did not think it was good value for money and would think very carefully before booking this lounge again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful although they were understaffed which adversely affected the service. I asked for a sandwich which was made with stale bread and very unappetising and a coffee which was very good although it took over 20 minutes to arrive. The toilets were not very clean and had no hand towels although on a second visit an hour later it was better. There was no paper rack and it was unclear what papers were those of other customers or belonged to the lounge as they were scattered about. The view is good over the airport and the free internet was very useful, however, I will go back to Servisair in future.

I was with four friends on our way to Vegas, so with a long flight ahead of us, the last thing we wanted was a crowded lounge without seats. This lounge is worth the money although if it was busy,or there were delays, I would imagine it wouldn't be as good.

We've never done a private lounge before, but it was the perfect start. The staff, food and atmosphere was all fantasic. Would highly recommend and definitely visit you again.

I thoroughly recommend No 1 Gatwick Lounge to other travellers. My partner and I shared a comfortable sofa right by the windows where we could watch the planes land and take off. Food and drinks were delicious and the waiting staff attentive and polite. It was very relaxing, especially for me as I am a nervous flyer. I will definitely book the lounge again for my next trip.

Gatwick Lounge bar very clean, comfortable and the staff extremley professional and friendly. Made the beginning of our holiday very relaxed even when there was a delay on our flight. Will definately book again next time we fly

A relaxing start to ones holiday in a quiet atmosphere. The staff were polite and efficient.

I booked the lounge as I liked the idea of having a choice of a hot meal. Unfortunately if you are using the lounge early morning expect it to be busy and a wait for your food! It could also do with more chairs for relaxing in. It looks more up to date than most lounges and has a great view over the runway.

After having gone through the chaos of check-in and the lengthy security checks the lounge facility was the necessary calm before embarking on the lengthy flight to Orlando. The bacon rolls and drinks were more than welcome and the staff in the lounge were courteous and attentive throughout.

As I said, very pleasant and I loved the quietness. However, staff could have tidied up newspapers and left them neatly stacked. I only had bits of a newspaper. Armchairs and sofas need to be re-upholstered, I could hardly heft myself out of the sofa. Food and drinks fine. The bathroom facilities could have been cleaner and somewhere to put one's bag while washing hands would be appreciated.

There were eight of us travelling to Turkey and as we had already used No 1 Lounge last year and had a brilliant experience we decided to do the same this year - we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly, very courteous and nothing was too much trouble for them. The facilities were excellent and our food was superb. We will definately book again.

This is the first time I have used a lounger anywhere. We also used the one at Malaga on the way back which was more expensive and we felt was a complete waste of money. Staff at gatwick were friendly, helpful and efficient. Good choice of snacks an appropriate drinks. Pares/food were replenished without prompting. Whilst the lounge at Malaga is very plush the staff were indifferent and had to be reminded by customers on at least 3 occassions to replenish the meagre croissants and pastries and didn't bother to replace newspapers. I won't you that facility again. On the other hand we hope to use Gatwick whenever we fly again. The only reason I haven't rated it as "Best" is because apart from Malaga I have no other experience to rate it against. We loved it!

there was no food on the carousel,and no one replaced any more.there was no menues out.the staff was busy trying to clean up because it was near to 10'oclock.the computor lounge upstairs was roped off.maybe it was late and the staff were ready to close.

Relaxing and comfortable surroundings to start a holiday. Food selection was interesting but limited. There did appear to be some food made to order however there were no menues on display and the staff didn't volunteer and information to suggest that this was available. Staff were polite and friendly however the advertised table service was almost non existant if you weren't sitting in front of the bar area.

On entering the lounge we were greeted by very polite and friendly staff. The food and drink were good. It was very child friendly. One of the children in our group was a celiac and they catered for her with no problems. The cakes were really delicious. It was a very good start to our holiday, would recommend it to anyone else who needs a calm and relaxing wait for their flight.

It is always nice to have a lounge pass but maybe because it was a bank holiday weekend the lounge seemed busy with many younsters which I thought were not supposed to have access - maybe I was mistaking with another lounge. Having ordered a snack I had to ask a 2nd time for the same.

Due to delays in check in, we only had 20 minutes in the lounge, however in that time, we managed to get a bacon sandwich and cereals with fruit juice. The food is excellent and the service is better, we would recommend to all and will only use No 1 when we use Gatwick South.

The best experience and service I ever had and I travel once a month and woulddefinately go to the NO 1 lounge if travelling from Gatwick and very good value

An outstanding way to commence one's holiday. A nice comfortable quiet lounge with pleasant staff and a good array of light snacks. Well worth a visit.
