Overall the lounge is very good but some of the staff could be friendlier. I also don't agree with the policy of only being allowed to order one item from the kitchen when you've paid £20 to use the lounge. It seems there are too many restrictions and extra items to pay for with this particular lounge. The Bollin Lounge offers better value for money.

We stayed overnight at an airport hotel but, with a 7am check in, knew we wouldn't do credit to an expensive hotel breakfast. The Escape lounge gave us more comfortable seats that the main airport as well as a good range of food and drink. Even alcohol which was a bit much for us taht early (but not for others in the lounge!) There were plenty of seats and overall, we were impressed. Not perfect though as, although there were two people checking entry to the lounge, there was only one running the bar and food area. She did a superb job, but I felt she was certainly overworked compared to the others

have used the lounge some years ago and found that it is not as good as it used to be. The food is limited to one item and the choice does not appear as varied as it used to be. Customer service was however, very good.

as I am breastfeeding my daughter I wanted somewhere to relax before our 8 hour flight, where I could feed her in comfort & discreetly. The staff were lovely & helpful, drinks & snacks plentiful, I'd definately book again

The staff on the desk, although welcoming, didn't seem to know which guests to expect. It all seemed rather vague. Bottled water wasn't available. This was a disappointment. When placing a drinks order from the bar I asked for a diet coke which was clearly in the fridge behind the young lady and she said 'I could get one from the fridge over the way'. Other guests commented on this rather abrupt response. The seating area was abit cramped as the lounge was quite busy. I couldn't find the cheese and crackers normally in the lounges although there was a range of hot food for those who wanted it. The quality of the food was average. Although we'd booked separately, we had actually introduced eight others to the lounge, being on a group holiday. The staff 'seemed' to be bored and got through the chore of the day without cheery smiles or comments. We always book the VIP lounges werever we go so have quite alot of experiences to compare with. There is only one other lounge in our experinece so far that we won't be using again, apart from this one. We normally encourage our group parties to book the lounges which could be anything up to 14-16 people. Four of the eight this time in the group commented that they wouldn't book the lounge again which is a shame as it doesn't take much to make it special. After all, why book if it's not special when you can sit outside for free! It won't stop us from booking other lounges in the future but this experience has deterred some.
