Good value for money and no problems with the security or facilities. The car park is some way from the airport however, and the transfers meander through a series of back streets which aren't terribly quick. If you're already running behind for your flight you may find the time to get to the car park and the time to transfer back to the airport only increases your stress level. I think I'll pay more and park a bit closer next time.

The entrance to purple parking is very hard to find. I was using my iphone as a sat nav which directed us to the back of a residental estate where a dark enclosed track stopped at a graffitti covered electric barrier gate. Aware that clearly the postcode was taking us to the wrong place, we drove around the area, eventually finding the purple parking site. Though lights were on in reception there was no one about and the electric gates were not functioning. Starting to panic we called up their help line and an advisor, who after a lot of nonsense with directions realised we were at the back entrance to the site and sent a van down to open the gate and take us through to the entrance. After this everything was fine, though we almost missed our flight. I think that purple parking should confirm that apple map software, or any sat nav, should have the correct location as it sent us to completeley the wrong place.

All worked very well. Airport pick up could have been more timely. Took hour from calling. Was rush hour so should ensure sufficient time to meet plane.

Transfer was long (20 mins drive) and very crowded. I couldn't sit next to my 4 year old on the bus. Security seemed a bit lax "who's car has this registration? well here's the key then, your car is over there" i.e. there was no checking of identity.

This service is OK. Transfer to Heathrow was fairly quick from time of dropoff of the car to getting on the van. Coming home was a little more uncertain as the organisation at the bus stop means a bit of a scrum to get my family onto the mini van. 25 minute wait from getting to the bus stop to getting on the van. The car was waiting conveniently when we got back.

First time I had used this company and was very pleased. Very easy to find, buses were punctual and quick to pick us up from the airport. Generally good customer service all round. Good value for money and couldn't fault anything. Will definately be using this company again.

We used Purple parking long stay when we went away for just over 5 weeks. We booked as soon as we knew our dates but knowing we could cancel the booking at no charge was welcome as various friends then half promised lifts (we live in Lincolnshire. As it happens none of the lifts worked out and we did not finalise arrangements until late. We decided to stay the night before our flight at Premier Inn Hayes - only about 5 mins drive away from PP.Perfect. When we arrived back at 6.30am after a long flight a pick-up arrived promptly, waited only briefly and we were swiftly delivered right to the car door. As painless as I can imagine!

one suggestion - explain to clients that the ticket given to them on dropping off their car is crucial and will be handed to coach driver on return so that the barcode can be entered into the computer.

The combination of automated systems and actual personal was exceptional. I was impressed by how effectively the systems were utilized, both at the gate and upon my return from my trip, enabling staff to do their jobs seamlessly. Thank you for making the daunting task of airport parking easy!

Purple Parking is a little tricky to find, being through an anonymous estate, past some industrial units, and not terriby well signed; but it is within a few minutes of the M4, and the transfer to T4 took about 15 mins. Drop off was easy, staff were polite, and the transfer (in trailered mini buses), fuss free. PIck up was OK, though the pick up point is not marked (check the site map in arrivals), and a 10 min wait meant that it wasn't certain to get on the bus. Remember or write down your location and details in case you lose or mislay your ticket...we found ours at the last minute. Car park surface is not brilliant, so we had to dodge the puddles for loading the car. However, we were soon departing and on our way. Good job, Purple Parking!

Site was very tucked out of the way but Sat Nav took us right there, glad we had it. Service was fine, not the most sociable of drivers but it was 5am! Door to door by mini bus after about a 10 min wait, time to use wc which was useful. Collection prompt, longer journey on return to car park due to rush hour traffic, hardly their fault but seemed a drag when you're already tired. Car ready for collection, all in order, would certainly use again. Very good value, but do allow plenty of time for transfer as traffic can be heavy in that area.

I have used Purple Parking 3 times now. There has never been an issue, the staff are polite, the busses run at regular enough intervals so you are not hanging around and the car is always a short distance from the drop off on the return. Excellent service.

It is a fantastic service - very well thought out and executed. Obviously it is difficult to co-ordinate the return bus, I found that I landed at 6:30 and only got to my car at 9, waiting half an hour at the bus stop. I appreciate that this is well worth the money saved, but perhaps there is a better way to communicate the last touch point.

What can I say about my experience of Purple Parking....we arrived at the gate, they didn't have any record of our booking so we spent a good 15 mins sat in the car whilst they searched for it. It then took us an hour to get from the car park over to Terminal 5 due to unorganised staff and mini buses. On the way back, I called Purple Parking at 3.15pm, the mini bus eventually turned up at 4.30pm. Needless to say we were not impressed. I kept calling the parking site to ask where the bus was and was repeatedly told that it was 5 minutes away!! When the mini bus did arrive I informed the driver that we had been waiting for an hour and 15 minutes and the response I got was 'do me a favour, it's taken me 15 minutes to get here'. What lovely customer service. Needless to say we will never be using this company again.
