As a frequent visitor to the lounge can I just say change it all back to the way it was.

My experience was generally positive. I'm not the most comfortable flyer so anything to relieve the tension massively helps. The lounge is very comfortable and the drinks availabilty is great. The customer service was generally great. Only minor negative feedback is that often, the service area wasn't manned and the hot food choice was limited (though it was nice). However, at 8am the lounge was not busy so it was not hard to see why the service was toned down a little.

Didn't seem to be enough staff to cope, even though they appear to work hard. No toilet paper in ladies toilets on the 2 occasions I visited, even after asking staff, they were apologetic. Having drinks served to you and having to stand in a queue is not my ideas of a good lounge experience, also running out of cheese , taking nuts and biscuits from unsealed bags. I have visited Newcastle lounge on many occasions over the last 9 years and it has been great, unfortunately since changing I may not visit again unless it improves. Bristol completely the opposite to Newcastle in every way. Please pass on my review in the hope that with the new refurbished lounge they can delivered good service and standards as in the old lounge.

Very good value for money mostly and will kick your holiday off tremendously well!

Enjoyed the lounge but think there should be more variety on the food, sandwiches etc. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the airport and to chill out before your flight.

Well worth the experience of a quiet comfortable drink whilst awaiting your flight.

Nice and relaxing start to our holiday snacks and drinks well stocked up staff quite friendly.

I have been here a few times and apart from the whisky teachers ? It's all good and I would recommend it any time

Was better than i thought.i ate the delicious snacks and drank the lovely wine. Next time i need not to book food on plane snacks filled me up.

Thought was value for money peace and quite no sandwiches thou plenty drink to choose from

Myself and partner used the Cheviot Lounge on 1st September at 4.30am. The lounge was clean and well laid out logistically. There was a variety of beverages, however I was disappointed in the variety of snacks available and felt that toasties etc may have been available. I would use the lounge again on future trips.

Was travelling alone and wanted comfort and quietness. The experience was just that. I was able to have a coffee and croissant without queuing. I read a newspaper provided and the time passed very quickly until I boarded the plane. I would recommend to any lone female traveller and it was very good value for money!

Nice lounge, not impressed separate lounge toilets not included, food ok but looked like it had been out a while and was not replenished. Selection of drinks average good to have branded spirits and not local. overall lounge is overpriced and not stock well enough compared to Newcastle although nice to have hot food albeit lukewarm when we got to it at 10.30 pm.

The lounge was comfortable it we hard difficulty in locating a clean table. There were quite a good selection of drinks but the Bacardi wasn't strong at all. The choice of snacks was poor - very little choice and tiny portions. Newspapers were available and some reading material. On the whole it was quiet and comfortable but I wouldn't say it was particularly good value for money.

have used lounge many times and will continue to do so relaxing and excellent value

The lounge was very basic, and it kept on running out of some of the shorts and wine. The staff did stock straight back up when mentioned, but this was in may and not peak season. The food is next to none and there was only one television which does not get sky, which was a huge disappointment to my husband as there was plenty premier matches to watch....it is still better than sitting in the airport i suppose, but this lounge is very basic and certainly not one of the best we have used.

The Cheviot lounge was a relaxing experience. The airport was very busy and it was nice to be able to chill out before our flight. The seats were comfortable and there was quite a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks available. However I did feel the food could have been a little more varied and maybe include sandwiches. All in all a worthwhile experience

great start to the holiday, save a fortune compared to the airport bar. Only bad thing was the screaming kid :0(

After rushing around preparing for our holiday and doing all the little things you have to see to before you leave home, the Cheviot Lounge was the perfect way to kick start our holiday. The peace and comfort of the lounge, helping ourselves to our favourite drink and relaxing in the comfy leather arm chairs, watching the planes landing until was time to board our flight. The minute we walked through the door we felt like our holiday had begun. Well worth the extra few pounds for a speical holiday treat, it will always be part of our holiday plans in future

The lounge was very comfortable, and the drinks and snacks were very well replenished. However there seemed to be a shortage of staff and tables were becoming very cluttered. Apart from that it was a very pleasant experience
