Absolutely awful lounge! Have stayed in a few airport lounges and always enjoyed them but this one was terrible. Where to start! Place was dirty with tables not cleared and snacks all over the floor- staff were too busy trying to look busy to actually clear up. No warm food available apart from some soup and only snacks were peanuts and cheap crisps. Spirits were all cheap quality and undrinkable. Finally WiFi access was only allowed for up to 1hr, after that you have to pay. In short try a different lounge or don't bother.

Disapointed that there was no hot food on offer. Other lounges offer hot toast and even bacon and sausage sandwiches.

There was a wide variety of alcoholic drinks which guests could help themselves to, and my partner enjoyed this experience. As a non-drinker myself, I felt the soft drink choices could have been more varied such as, cans of drink rather than bottled, that was shared and slightly flat. The food was disappointing - I would have preferred to pay more money and have some option of hot food such as a bacon sandwich etc. Having said this, if free drink is your thing, then you would love this experience!

The tables were dirty and in need of repair. The floor was sticky where drinks had been spilled. We had a few nuts and a drink each therefore it was not value for money! We were disappointed and would never book with the styal lounge again. Thank you Mrs smith

A wide range of drinks available in the lounge (alcoholic and non-alcoholic, hot and cold) but in terms of snacks there was only cheese and crackers, croissants, crisps and cake slices (all prepacked). I have been in other lounges for the same price where sandwiches are available, or cooked snacks. In the Virgin lounge they even provide a cooked breakfast for morning customers. We arrived at 17.30 and left at approx 18.45, so it may have been that other food options are available throughout the day and not at this time, but I feel this is something that could be improved. We booked our holiday last minute and this was the only lounge available, which is why we booked it. We paid £17.50pp, so probably worth it for a comfy seat and a couple of glasses of wine. However, if other lounges were available in the future I'd probaby opt for one of those rather than the Styal Lounge.

We had a nervous 'flyer' in our party and going from the hustle and bustle of check-in and Security to the calmness of the Styal lounge really calmed all our party! Great way to start that we'll earned holiday.

Having used the escape lounge twice in Manchester airport and found it a lovely way to start a holiday we decided to try the styal lounge for a change. Although the lounge was fairly quiet when we arrived at 11am, it quickly filled up to the point where there were not enough areas for separate parties and we ended up starting our romantic couples holiday sharing a table with a family of 4 who could not find seats anywhere else. The food selection was poor- only crackers, one type of cheese and crisps to be had, no sandwiches or pastries. The drinks selection was reasonable, but staff were pretty miserable- no " service with a smile" that day I'm afraid. I don't think I'd book again, as didn't find it relaxing or good value for money.

We have used Styal Lounge two years running now, but not for very early morning flights, but around lunchtime departures. It was less busy than last year and there was lots of room for us to chill, have drinks & snacks whitst watching tv / reading. We left Styal approx. 45 mins before our flight, in good spirits.

Pre booked as always with lounges to ensure availability. Found seating area to be bit condensed and oddly shaped, I like music but the seats under the speaker wouldn't have been good to sit in as it piped right down into that area. Breakfast was the time of day for us and we just felt that there should have been a wider selection ie pastries, toast, cheese and crackers and maybe some crisps. Otherwise experience as always is much more comfortable away from the crowds in the terminals and the associated costs

Plenty of seating and lots of great self serve drinks to choose from. I had gin and tonics and we had a pregnant friend who did not struggle to find a soft drink. The blokes were over the moon with the fridge full of help yourself bottled branded lagers!. Thought that there might be more choice of food like a sandwich or something but we were happy with the soup and pastries. I had cheese and crackers and some nibbles. Kept me going nicely. Would go again. Our only issue was that we queued so long at check in and passport control we only got an hour in the lounge. But that wasnt their fault.

I always use this facility. It takes away the stressful time of waiting for flights and compensates for any flight delays.

Easy to find. Clean and comfortable. Although was very busy during our visit 6.30 till 9am). Staff helpful. Not much choice of savoury food during breakfast times. All cakes and biscuits. But hot and hot colds available along with alcoholic drinks and all a good choice.

With regard to the comfort I felt that the lounge was an extremely busy place with limited seating. I have marked down the food as it was very limited. I feel the introduction of a toaster and bread and the use of the fridges to contain yogurts would improve the perception and make it seem better value for money. I have marked this as good value for money as I was able to have several alcoholic drinks which if I had purchased elsewhere within the airport I would have paid more than the cost of the lounge. I will definately book this again when I fly from Manchester.
