If you wish to escape the madness of the airport especially whilst the alterations are taking place at Manchester airport then book yourself some stress free time in comfortable sorroundings. You can have complimentary drinks and snacks in peaceful sorroundings. Why not start your travel arrangements off in Styal?

the lounge does get you relaxed for the start of your holiday .. the drink selection is great although i think the food selection is poor ,we go there for every holiday so have been all times of day , sometimes the tables have been left and we have had to clean them and remove rubbish from the last person

The lounge is fairly comfortable and relaxing and, for the cost, well worth the money. I would have been willing to pay slightly more for some hot food to be included, however, the snacks available are good quality, plentiful and wholesome.

It is a very nice place to relax before a long haul flight, however on my last visit there, I discovered that there are no announcements or screens which tell you when your flight is due to depart. You have to keep going to the Reception to check if your flight is called. It was my second visit to the lounge and it has changed quite a lot, but passengers must be aware that they must keep going to reception to check their flight departures.

Whilst the lounge was nice and clean and the refreshments and snacks good, the lounge was over-crowded. PLEASE NOTE. You should inform all guests at the time of booking that there are NO SMOKING FACILITIES at all inside the Manchester Airport Terminal.

over the years, we have used the lounge.the last visit however, it was apparent of cost saving excersises. there were no longer facilities for cereals, toast and other food items that were previously available, the routine clearing away of used dishes, rubbish etc was very infrequent often leading to a "do it yourself approach" before you even sat down. however, it is still a more relaxing start to your holiday that staying in the terminal battling to get food and drinks. we will continue to use the facility as and when we need to.

Although the Lounge was clean tidy and well stocked .We had difficulty getting seating as the place was crowded, the dress code was not enforced with people in shorts and football tops and children running around the lounge screaming at the top of their voices . The staff seemed reluctant to enforce their conditions. Would not use this lounge again may as well have stayed in the normal airport waiting area and saved Myself £40.

I personally love the airport lounges , away from all the shops and hustle and bustle of the often crowded airport. The first lounge I ever went in at Manchester was really relaxing , it had a chaise lounge and I think a waterfall of some kind . oh and the best thing about it was the toaster ....although I have enjoyed the other lounges including the Styal Lounge ,none have lived up to that first experience . A toaster at least please .!!!

The reception area could be better appointed and the reception staff more welcoming to the clients rather than attending to their own needs and prorities, plus it may help if they always remember to turn off their PA system when talking to each other.

Convenient, quiet and basic facilities.Unfortunately,no windows to view the airport due to location in the building. Definately better than the cattle market that was going on around the airport.Drinks were fine, with a good range of spirits.Food was minimal and not replenished during the time was there....average. Overally,if you just want to chill far from the madding crowd, then use it.I would like to try another lounge next time,if there was an alternative.

The Lounge is so relaxing compared to the hustle and bustle of the main departure lounge, where sometimes you struggle to find seats together. I love the experience of the Styal Lounge and recommend it to all my friends.
