I know it is not a VIP lounge but it is expensive and I thought the choice of food could have been much better. Nothing was appealing. The receptionist was not overly friendly and we had no other contact with staff.

My experience was positive. I was in a quiet area able to use the internet and relax before my flight. I thought the food was not terribly good. Why not try some ready-packed sandwiches or similar? This day was hamburger chips and peas. There were 3 undercooked chips, a few more peas and a strange hamburger. Not good. However I don't come for the food - the food is an extra bonus but is something I will try. Hope this helps. Juliet

The chairs are low and a tad uncomfortable - the ones with foot stools are fabulous. Food could go up a notch. Drinks were fine but my husband and I don't drink alcohol so that is not an asset for us . It definitely is the best way to wait out long hours before a flight. The fact that I could shower in excellent facilities was THE BEST. The young lady who dealt with me at reception was slow and she took ages to sort out my booking. I never did receive the second email with the voucher needed get in.

Plenty of space and very comfoirtable chairs. Computer access and office space those who have to work and large armchairs for those who wish to doze. Coffee and newspapers for those who wish them and flat screen TV for those who like their news delivered by other media

Lounge was clean & comfortable with a generous choice of drinks but only snacks to eat, crisps, apples, biscuits, salad etc. Couldnt access wi-fi. Worst of all was non-stop African drumming from Out of Africa store below. Unable to get away from it, gave me a headache. Liked the layout, the way it was sub-divided into sections

We were late getting to lounge due to problems on the highway. We only needed a snack but these were very poor. Waited at the bar for a drink but no one appeared for several minutes and some visitors h helped themselves. The coffee from the machine also was not good.

Fortunately we had booked the Bidvest Premier Lounge prior to travelling, as our 'onward' flight was delayed for two hours! Made the wait relaxing & enjoyable.

We were looking for somewhere to shower and relax before a night flight home. The lounge provided that with adequate snacks and drinks. A choice of TV stations were available but not too intrusive. Wi-Fi is always welcome to catch up on correspondence.

Food selection not that good, but adequate for purpose. Everything was clean and tidy, with tables cleared frequently. Excellent value.

Easy to find just follow the instructions on your booking info. As far as airport lounges go I thought it was a rather basic. Plenty of drinks choice but food was rather boring. The internet was fast and easily accessible, toilets clean. I found the lounge area uncomfortable, lots of chairs packed in close to tables. I was only there a couple of hours and therefore it met my needs, however if I had had a long wait I think it would have been unpleasant. Not particularly good value for money.

This is probably the best lounge I have used, apart from the Airline lounges available to Business Class passengers. It is very spacious with lots of TV screens on low volume showing live sports, news, etc. but also has quiet corners and self contained rooms for those wanting to do some work. There is an excellent choice of hot and cold food, drinks and snacks. It is well staffed so clearing of tables and replenishing food, etc. is ongoing. It is about 2 minutes from international departure gates 1-4, for which SAA get priority on flights to the UK. This permits use of the lounge to virtually the last minute before boarding. As the general seating and relaxation areas within OR Tambo airport are very limited,I would recommend this lounge to anyone killing time before a flight.

Just one thing; you should follow better up on availability of wine and alcoholic beverages . We spent about 3 hours, and found several times empty bottles.

I had flown 16 hours from Brisbane to Johannesburg via Perth arriving at 5am, so was delighted to be able to have a lovely hot shower and a muffin and some coffee to refresh me before I flew onto Nampula Mozambique a few hours later. The bathroom was lovely and big and the breakfast selection was fresh and tasty. I relaxed in a comfy chair using the wifi on my phone to connect to family and friends, an experience I would definitely repeat.

It was always only if you were travelling Business or First class you could utilise 'the lounge' prior to your flight,well Bidvest provide the facilities to enable you to experience this before your flight by offering at very reasonable rates the excellent lounges,where you can eat, drink, shower and rest before your flight however long or short, recharge your batteries, watch TV, catch up with the local papers, in fact everything you could possilbly need is right there for you,but dont tell everyone there will be no room left for my next visit

The booking for the lounge was only made a couple of days before I used the lounge. Where we were staying there were no facilities to print off the voucher so it was downloaded on to my I pad. The receptionist would not accept this and insisted on an email before she let me in. It took about 20 minutes largely because the Wifi was a problem and I finally was able to try and send an email to a person standing I front of me. I had to show the receptionist that the email had hopefully been sent so she eventually admitted me to the lounge. The wifii didn't work the entire time I was using the lounge and When I arrived back in the UK I had an ensign informing me that the email hadn't even been sent. So it was a waste of time at the reception desk leaving me hot and definitely bothered. When I need to use the lounge again I will make sure I have the relevant paperwork to save the farce.

The good plates were not refilled quickly enough. It would help to get name correct on the feed back form.. Otherwise I am happy to use you again!!'
