Servisair Lounge reviews

If going on long haul journeys I always use the lounge it is a nice relaxing atmosphere which is just what you need when you are traveling long distances. The service and facilities are great could do with another ladies toilet though. Would recommend to anyone great way to start you holiday.

Using the lounge makes travelling by air so much more agreeable - a really good start to a holiday.

Our stay in the Servisair lounge was restricted to three hours as stated when we booked. It was very comfortable and offered the services it advertised . Nevertheless as we had a 10 hour stayover in Heathrow as we travelled from Vancouver to Cape Town so this stay in the lounge was very short! I also noted that it seemed to take business men as their prime users. (Internet service and WIFI etc)The mens washrooms were provided with basins where one could have a shave. The woman's toilet was very small and hardly any room to tidy oneself let alone allow for a change of clothing to freshen up. I would sugest showers and changerooms for passengers as ourselves who have these long stayovers between flights. Heathrow no longer has showers and the Spa which was in Terminal 1 a couple of years ago, no longer exists. We would be prepared to pay extra for this facility. I strongly urge that Serisair look into this possibilty as we would use these facilities if offered. We travel this route on a regular basis.

The sofas and chairs were not particularly comfortable. No hassle experience - more snacks than food- no sandwiches which would have been nice.

The minus side: Reception could have been more welcoming (a smile costs nothing)! Didn't appear to be any sandwiches, just crisps, peanuts, biscuits. Plus side: Gets you away from the crowd, papers and magazines to read, a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

like i alreday mentioned, you always remember the good people do, you have wonderful staff, they were good to us, we were tired, after flying for 8 hours from canada and was there at your loung earlier than we should have been, they didnt turn us way unstead allowed us to go in earlier, thank you, good work, will definitely go your lounge again.

A quiet civilised lounge, with plenty of comfortable seating and work areas to suit all requirements. Wi-Fi available, or computer terminals to pay as you use. Complimentary drinks and snacks, including tea/coffee, soft drinks, wine and beer. Various sweet and savoury snacks too. Worth every penny!

Having arrived very tired after a 9 hour flight from Canada we were expecting to be able to relax before catching our connecting flight. However this was not possible due to a very noisy young boy who crashed around the lounge with some sort of mechanical toy for the whole 3 hour stay. During this time lounge staff, although they could not fail to hear the noise, did nothing to stop him by either speaking to him or his mother. We were not the only ones effected by the boy but not wishing to create a scene no one intervened. This should have been the duty of the staff.

drink selection is good, food is not great, just some snacks and fruit, a free wireless link could add a good value

Most enjoyable way to spend three hours before a long flight particularly if it is an overnight flight
