I wished to stay in the hotel on our return from holiday - this necessitates a telephone call in addition to the online booking because it is assumed a roomis needed before the holiday. I booked breakfast but this was not communicated to the hotel so I had to pay for breakfast. Breakfast was not good quality - the food was tasteless and there was very little choice for continetal breakfast

considering this is such a big hotel, the room maintenance was fantastic, you always see something, a cracked tile or other small thing, but everything was great. The fixtures and fittings were of a high standard, amazing value for money

Hotel rooms poor condition but relatively cheap. Only 3 miles from airport but transfers only provided at set times every 1-2 hours. For cost of taxi (nearly £10 each way) could stay at a nicer hotel.

We were very dissapointed about the transfer times to the airport. taking approx a hour to arrive at terminal one. Which meant us getting up at 3am to arrive at 4.30am. Getting up at that time we could have travelled from home! The hotel is 15 min from the airport and that is why I chose it. The close proximity of the hotel to the airport is completley negated by the slow and leborious schedule of the hotels bus service. We ended up paying for a taxi to make things better for us. I would not use the hotel again because of the slow transfer time scale. Other hotels I have stayed at run a 30 min transfer which is acceptable. a one hour transfer is not when the hotel is so close.

Menu on evening of our stay had mashed potatoes on 1 selection but the mash could not be transposed to any other selections. We walked out in disgust.

after travelling with my 2 year old to a hotel I booked specifically close to the airport, I arrived at 7.30pm to be told there was no water and we had to go to a central manchester hotel.this was not convenient due to a very early flight and a 2 year old who was already tired which I explained.the hotel staff were extremely unhelpful and had no sympathy for my situation.i therefore decided to ask for a refund and check into Bewleys at manchester airport who by complete contrast were friendly, helpful and appreciative ofmy circumstances.

On the whole a very good experience. Easy access to and from motorway. Close enough to airport. Transfers worked very well. Food very good. Very friendly staff.

Bathroom was rather scruffy, needed a good cleaning. Bedroom door was part open when we reached the room, was very difficult to shut. Card wouldn't work to open door on outward journey, had to go back to reception 4 times before it was resolved.
