A very nice way to start your holiday. Hotel spotless, rooms very nice, room service very good, breakfast second to none. Will definitely be doing the same next holiday. Can recommend to anyone.

Hotel good, transfers good, car park very full struggled to find a parking space. If your flight is in the early hours of the morning you would need to check if the transfer bus is running at that time.

Clean hotel with friendly staff and nice restaurant. Does what it says on the tin. Airport parking and shuttle bus very efficient.

Easy to find, very smooth book in, but a little tricky to get into long stay carpark. Room very good and spotless. had to wait a litlte for the shuttle bus but as right on door of airport not too much of a problem

The hotel is not on airport but a 10 min drive away and quite difficult to find. It needs a bit of updating and t l c but comfortable enough. The transfer to airport was fine and we were given a timetable for our return. We waited at the designated spot for 40 mins and 2scheduled buses before ringing the depot when a bus arrived shortly afterwards. This meant a much later return home which was not a happy one as by this time it was snowing.

we found this hotel spot on!. we arrived mid afternoon and used all the leisure facilities which are clean and well maintained. we enjoyed a wonderful meal in the evening which was excellent value and very well presented and of excellent quality. rooms very nice, spacious and clean. transfer to airport excellent with very cheery driver. cannot wait to stay again in december.

Transfer was quick and efficient, the rooms were just what we needed and the lounge, bar and lobby was a great place to spend a night in transit.

We booked early so got a good price to include parking for 2 weeks. I would stay there again.

Good for early morning flights. Nice surroundings, close to the airport with any noise. Restaurant good!

Room was up 2 large flights of stairs, with no lift in that part of hotel. Given the hotel knew we would only be staying 1 night, and obviously would have cases to lug,why? Also the bier was warm, although the bar man knew this (I heard him telling another employee), he still served me it, and didn't bat an eyelid when I asked for some ice!

If flying from Manchester again would book into the same hotel. The transfers to and from the airport were great and no hassle on return. I would actually chose the same hotel for long weekends or midweek breaks.

The Hotel was very near the airport and good transfer facilities. The room was extremely small, ideal for one person but too small for two people; there was six inches one side between the bed and wall - not good when having to visit the bathroom during the night.

The room was very warm, we could not open windows to get any fresh air and couldn't turn down the air conditioning, water was running all night in pipes. We did not sleep at all and would have been better off driving from home in the early hours. Our flight back was delayed by 3 hours arriving back at 11.45pm on New Years Eve, by the time we had collected cases we had missed the last coach according to Holiday Inn timetable, I rang the hotel to ask them to arrange a taxi, I was answered by a clever and arrogant receptionist who said it wasn't his fault and we had to get our own taxi. Because it was New Years Eve this cost us 25 for a 2 mile journey and upon arriving he wouldn't reimburse our taxi fare. Surely the hotel should have a stand by for late and delayed flights. This is the first time we have used this service, as frequent travellers, we will stick to airport car parking, and we will NOT be using the Holiday Inn again.

When we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the reception staff. After being shown where we could eat lunch the barmaid was friendly and the small lunch we chose was cooked to order and was tasty. Would definitely say again.

the transfers back from the airport is hourly, which is a disgrace. we missed it by 5 minutes,after a 6 hour flight,it was eitherwait 55minutes or get a taxi costing 20 which i had to do. surely they could make it every 30 mins

We had room directly above hotel reception and at the front of hotel. Did not sleep all night. People arriving and leaving throughout night so lots of noise, also hotel staff on duty chatting outside during evening. When mentioned to reception next morning they said we should have requested a move as they would have accommodated us at the back of the hotel as they had rooms available. Why is this not done automatically so people like ourselves can get a good nights sleep before going on a long haul flight. Under these circumstances we feel we would not be able to use this hotel again as obviously part of the reason you travel the night before is so you are able to get a rest before departure.

A comfortable hotel. Was easy to get to. Restaurant selection was good and the food excellent. Transfer to and from airport was convenient and long stay parking at hotel was hassle-free. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Landed back in Manchester at 1am - the 1st bus should have been at 3.15am which didn't turn up(even though we had pre booked it) when we rang at 3.45am to see where it was we where told that due to 'admin' he didn't know we were to be picked up. Also when we booked in at the hotel and explained that we were told that the bus ran 24 hours a day the girl on reception said 'no it doesn't you'll need to get a taxi and it will cost you £16.00' - this is on top of the £139.00 we had already paid! Only use the hotel if you depart and land at sensible time.
