This is the first time i have had to spend 10 hours in transit. So I needed to take a rest at this lounge in the hope that there would be enough crouchettes. But unfortunately there are altogether only eight and obviously not enough for those who were waiting for transit, though not all passengers needed to sleep. For those who needed to sleep but not able to get a crouchette put together two armchairs to make themselves a "bed". The consequence was that no enough seats for those who just arrived. Seeing this one would be quite frustrated. You have to be very patient at this point because some of the passengers would pack and go meaning that you will have a good chance to get a crouchette or armchair or sofa.

I would havel liked to have showered but the towels only arrived at 7 am apparently which was too late for me. I think more bed-like seats would be popular.

Is it the best lounge out there? Probably not. That said, the staff is extremely courteous, the food is ample and good quality although not in great variety, the showers are private and clean, alcohol is forthcoming if you ask for it, and compared to the chaotic and crowded terminal outside it is quiet and relaxing. There were some children, many napping. I doubt they could do that outside the lounge.

very busy, not enough seats, food ran out, had to ask for alcoholic drinks even beer but heaps better than the squalor outside where you have to sit on the floor and the toilets make you gag!!!

Although very nice and large, it could not accommodate the number of people at times in the lounge - but still better then waiting in the 'normal' part of the airport.

The facilities provided at this lounge is worth the money. Although there aren't as many reclining seats as one hopes for, the rest of the sofas are pretty comfortable.

The Oryx Lounge provided excellent comfort for a six hr. stopover. Beds and comfortable lounge chairs and proper tables and chairs to eat a meal after a 14 hr. flight were a welcome change. Refreshments were of a good quality. The staff provided excellent service and cleanliness was outstanding. A shower after a long flight made our journey to Europe less taxing.

The food were excellent. Rest place wasn't enough. Floor plan wasn't clear. They didn't show where the shower facilities were and if you don't ask, you will not know you can borrow towels from the staff. And after the shower, they didn't tell where you can return the towels. Some staff were not very helpful but most of them were nice.

One of the benefits of the Onyx Lounge is that you can take a shower. There is a comfortable smokeroom. Plenty of food and all kinds of different drinks available all the time. Even if you don't have one off the beds to sleep in, you still can sleep quite comfortable in the chairs. It is a quiet envirement, even thought there are several people present. As a woman alone, it felt totally safe to spend the night there.

Good service at a reasonable price. Much mhch better than waiting 5 hrs in the airport halls. Only negative point: the lounge was freezing as the whole airport!

This is my first time staying in an airport lounge waiting for a 10 hour transit. So a place to rest/stay is very important and the Oryx lounge is a good choice. Yet there is not enough couchettes where you can really take a rest. I think this is really important for a traveller who has to wait for a couple of hours transit. Otherwise everything is up to high standard.

The Oryx Lounge made a 6hr overnight stopover in Doha so much better than attempting to catch some sleep in the crowded public areas. The food and somewhere to shower / wash half way through a 24hr long haul journey is worth £25 of anyone's cash. There are a few beds / couches and loads of comfy chairs. Even when full the lounge isn't crowded but pre-book your spot as even at midnight those just turning up were being turned away.

I used the Oryx Lounge for the first time during an 8hour stop-over in Doha.It was an excellent solution to be able to have a shower, relax and get something to eat.I personally found the buffet breakfast and then lunch (i was booked in for 6 hours)very good quality.Would certainly recommend to anyone with time to kill in Doha International Airport.

I stayed in the lounge because had to wait 23 hours for my next flight and there were no hotels in the airport. The place is clean and the food in the buffet was very good, there's wifi, computers, chairs, tables and a few reclined chairs. I think there should be more reclined chairs, there aren't enough for all the customers. Also, sometimes the customer service comes in shouting the names of clients who have to leave or something, which can disrupt your sleep. I was lucky to find one chair and it was comfortable, so after six hours, I decided to book six more. I think you get good rest and food for what you pay.

Given how bad the rest of Doha airport is my time in the lounge was so worth the money. Comfortable chairs and some 'beds'. Great food and drink. The chance to shower. It was quite and relaxed. Made my stop over quite pleasant! I highly recommend it!

The reception desk staff were polite and efficient and within a few minutes we were admitted to the spacious, very quiet Oryx Lounge. There is a small selection of sandwiches, salads and cakes at a buffet area at each end of the lounge which was sufficient for my transfer of five hours. The lounge has two spacious seating areas with comfortable seats and in the quieter lounge (where there is no news TV) there are a dozen or so loungers. There are also a few showers. The lounge was clean. For any transfer that requires a wait of more than a couple of hours this lounge is well worth it.
