Arrival Procedure
Drive to the Sofitel Hotel car park, take a ticket at the barrier and park your vehicle. Take your car park ticket and confirmation email to car park reception and leave your car keys with the car park representative. Walk across the road into the North Terminal building.
Departure Procedure
Collect your luggage, clear customs, then walk across the road to the hotel. Proceed to reception where your keys will be returned to you, and then you may collect your vehicle from the car park.

Other Important Information
Please note that the Inter Terminal Transit System (Monorail) has closed to passengers. A new track will reopen on the 28th April 2010, and the second in July 2010. A replacement bus service will run from the North Terminal forecourt to the South Terminal forecourt within this period.
- Vehicles are moved from the hotel car park to one of Meteor Parking's nearby secure car parks for the duration of your trip, then brought back to the hotel car park for your return.
- Customers travelling from the South terminal can take Gatwick's free monorail service from inside the North terminal, which departs every six minutes (every three minutes at peak times) and is a two minute journey.
Directions to Sofitel Park and Walk
We recommend using the directions provided and an up-to-date map to locate the car park. Please be aware that satellite navigation systems vary and are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park.
- Exit the M23 at Junction 9 and follow signs for Gatwick.
- At the 1st roundabout, go straight across.
- At the 2nd roundabout, follow the signs for the North terminal.
- Follow signs for the hotel.

I parked my car in the Hotel car park. The man in the office was expecting me - I dropped off my keys and walked in to the airport- what could be easier. On my return I was greeted and my car was ready for me.
Brilliant, no problems whatsoever, very helpful and quick walk to the airport no fuss or other will use next year, great value for money.

We have flown regularly from British Airports and have tried all different ways of parking our car including meet and greet but decided that this time was by far the easiest,cheapest and the most convenient and will definately be our method of choice for the next time we fly. From arriving at the airport by car to walking into the terminal musn't have taken more than 10 minutes.
What more is there to say, "Easy to find, very close to terminal, friendly and helpful staff", will definately use the service again when we next fly from Gatwick
On our return we had slight difficulty finding the tunnel back to the first floor of the hotel from Arrivals as Sofitel is in small writing on the direction boards. It would have been an added bonus if the car had been brought round to the car park reception rather than my having to walk round to the back of the hotel myself to pick up the car. Hand break put on by very strong man, took all my strength to release it, thought I was going to have to walk back and get help!
We found this service really easy to use, and very quick. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were only minutes from the departure area by foot. Much less stressful than waiting for buses!
Convenient - no waiting for courtesy busses. Once parked you are inside the terminal building within 5 minutes. Friendly staff. Good value for money.
Staff appeared very switched on and professional - even at five o'clock in the morning! When we returned the manager personally collected the car from the far side of the car park to save us the bother of wheeling our cases over there. Very refreshing to see such a competent and professional service. PS: had to fill in transfers box even though not applicable here. Would also appreciate it if you did not show my name alongside the review if possible.
We live in North Norfolk and parking at Gatwick when we are going on holiday is normally a bit problematical.This holiday had an extra complication as my wife had a broken wrist in plaster falling a recent fall and one of her knees was causing problems.It was very easy to drive to the South Terminal folow the signs for the Sofitel and park the car. The attendant knew we were coming and the final paperwor was soon complted and we were on our way for a leisurely stroll into the terminal,( at laest for my wife whilst I pulled the suitcases).On our return the car was sitting there awaiting us, we just had to produce our paperwork and pick up our keys and drive away. You pay a premium for the service in the sense that you can get cheaper parking elsewhere but with far more hassle, inconvenience and time wasting
