Arrival Procedure
Please call the car park telephone number in your confirmation email when you are ten minutes from the airport to confirm your arrival time.
- South Terminal: Follow signs to set-down/car rental return on ground level. Drive as far as possible through traffic lights and park on the right.
- North Terminal: Follow signs to Departures set down and passenger drop off and the driver will meet you at the far end.
Departure Procedure
- South Terminal: Call the car park telephone number in your confirmation email after collecting luggage. Follow signs for Taxis on ground floor level. Exit building and cross road at lights. Turn left and wait opposite the terminal (as on arrival).
- North Terminal: Due to building works, a No Waiting policy is in force. Collect your luggage, clear customs and ring the number in your confirmation email. Exit the building on Arrivals level and turn left, cross to the 3rd lane, opposite building works.

The instructions given on arrival were not clear and we went to the wrong airport road as we didn't know that we had to walk back through the car-park towards the Sofitel Hotel in order to meet the Meteor driver. We made a second phone call and it was sorted out well.
Meteor parking were extremely helpful, I dropped my family off at our hotel and then rang Meteor to arrange collection of the car at the airport, they asked where I was and said that they would collect the car from the hotel - brilliant! On our return the car was returned promptly as advertised allowing us to make a stressless departure for home. I would use the service again and recommend it to others - the hassle saved is well worth the extra!
Problems began when dropping car off. Instructions stated to go to the valet parking in the short stay car park. However when I rang when 10 mins away was then told to go to the bus and taxi drop off below the terminal. Had to wait 15 mins for driver to collect car even when ringing ahead. On return followed instructions and rang after collecting bags. Was then made to wait over 30 mins for car to be returned. Whilst waiting rang to get update staff were rude and blamed traffic. This was untrue as no traffic present when we left. Not a pleasant experience and would certainly not use company again.
The driver was waiting for us on arrival. We had a couple of minutes wait on return, but well within the stated time scales. I can't fault them in any way. Excellent.
We were very pleased with our experience of Meteor Parking Gatwick meet and greet service. I only have one minor criticism and that is that the post holiday delivering driver could have been friendlier. We were not invited to inspect the car but it was not damaged in any way. I will certainly use them again.
An efficient service. No problems at all, even though we were 7 hours late returning.
This was such a good way to travel with no worries about the car and after a tiring flight just to get in the car and go home with no delays was wonderful.

We have used this service twice now at different airports ( gatwick & birmingham)with meteor. Simple hassle free parking and pick-up. Would highly recommend this service and will certainly use it again myself.
Although it costs a littler more to use Meet and Greet, the time you save and the hassle you avoid makes it so worthwhile. The drivers were pleasant, smart and prompt. We would use the Company again.

I used Meteor for a recent trip from Gatwick and it was much easier than I anticipated. On my return, I found myself caught up in the "Icelandic volcanic ash" incident, so actually returned over a week later than planned. Meteor had no problems handling this, I made a couple of quick phone calls to keep them informed, and when I got back the car was ready immediately - I paid them for the extra days (they provided a receipt there and then) and was on my way without fines, penalties, or other excess fees. I'll have no hesitation about using them again
The main issue is that the drop off / pick up area is a no waiting area. Therefore we had to circle the airport a couple of times as we kept getting moved on by the traffic wardens as the collecting driver wasn't there when we arrived. Not a big deal but a little frustrating and stressful at 5.30 in the morning when its the first time that you've used the service.
Everything we could have expected, prompt and courteous service. As regular travellers this was definitely one of the best parking services we have experienced. Will be using again quite soon.
Very good to have someone take the car off you as you arrive however it isn't clear when to call them as you are coming off the plane - they say after security, but being a domestic flight, there was none. As I result I called as I was walking through the terminal and had to wait for about 10 minutes for the car to arrive. My collegue parked in short stay and payed the same, so good value!
The pick up and drop off element of this service were fantastic. Staff courteous and helpful. However, on arriving home we noticed a large dent on the back of the car that had not been present when we left it. At no time were we asked to check the car before leaving Gatwick - had we been we would have seen the dent (you can't miss it!!). We noticed your staff checking our car on drop off and would welcome the reminder to check it on pick up - with 3 small kids it's often the last thing on our minds!
Everything worked perfectly. They even helped me when I called from overseas to confirm that Gatwick was still operating despite the snow.
This is the second time I have used Meteor. Again, I found the service excellent. We had a very early flight and they arrived just as we pulled up, on the way home we were delayed, we called them as instructed after collecting bags and clearing customs and the car was delivered in a matter of minutes. I will definitely be using them again, we have four children and it makes the whole airport experience so much easier, I only wish the check in was as efficient!
Even though I was very late they were courteous and got someone to the pick up point quickly. Pity the same cannot be said for the Traffic Wardens at Gatwick. The return leg was equally smooth... Nigel
