From Lancashire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and The North
Follow the M60 sign posted towards the west.
Leave the M60 at Junction 7 and follow the A56 through Sale to Altrincham.
Just before Altrincham, you will pass Halford's on the left. Go straight on through the traffic lights then turn right into Woodfield Road (opposite Navigation Hotel).
Follow Woodfield Road, which bears left into Norman Road. At end of road, turn right into Purple Parking.
From Cheshire, North Wales and M6 Motorway
Leave M6 at Junction 19 and join the A556 to the roundabout at M56 (2.9 miles) or leave the M56 at Junction 7 and join the A56 to Altrincham (2.6 miles)
As the road approaches Altrincham, bear left following the signs to Manchester, through the traffic lights, with the Cresta Court Hotel on your right.
Down the dual carriageway for 200 yards and then turn left by the Wheatsheaf Hotel (opposite the George & Dragon Hotel) into Oldfield Road
Follow for 300 yards then take 2ND right down Weldon Road, bearing left down Lawrence Road to the roundabout
Go over the roundabout to the junction. Turn left onto Norman Road, then go to the end of Norman Road and turn right into Purple Parking.

Waiting area now has heating! Have used this parking service several times - which speaks for itself. Only comment this time - wish they'd not gone through a muddy puddle with my car as what had been a nice clean car was splattered with mud when I collected it! This hasn't happened before though, and I would certainly recommend the service.

Having returned to Manchester Airport, we phoned Purple Parking and it was over an hour from that time until we arrived back at the car park.

I was very impressed with the speed and efficency of the service. Everyone was polite and helpful, we waited approx 15 mins for a transfer and the driver got us to the airport as quickly as he was able. I was disappointed by negative reviews I have read online as Purple Parking make it clear they are not at the airport and that a transfer is involved. I imagine people turn up late, get annoyed at the journey and then blame the location of the parking for their lateness. I found the whole system very efficient and less time than some airport parking where massive car parks involve slow bus transfers as you have to wait for the bus and then drive round numerous car parks before getting to the terminal. Have used Purple Parking elsewhere previously and would certainly use this one again.

Delivery to airport delayed because of lighting problems on minibus - not a great problem for us but could have been for anyone running a little late.

Everything was good except had to wait longer than expected at the parking depot and began to clock watch. One poor guy was desperate to set off and he cut it real fine...don't know if he made it on time. On return to airport was picked up within a few minutes.

It works out at about £5 a day so not a terrible fee. We did, however, have to wait nearly an hour for someone to pick us up from the bus stop back to the car park upon our return. Other companies I have been with are usually far quicker for around the same price. Would use again but could be improved.

I definitely found Purple Parking to be good value for money and easy to use. Downsides - you couldn't really use this service if you were in a hurry as I just missed a bus and then had to wait quite a while for the next one. On the return journey some inconsiderate passengers must have called before getting through passport control, perhaps PP should be a bit more strict with errant passengers.

We were dubious at first leaving our keys, but our minds were put at rest when we spoke to our driver who dropped us off. We were picked up quickly and brought back to our car which we thought was a great service. will definately use again.
