As usual a good service from ACE. It is a shame they have been put onto 6th floor of car park, but lift access is good. Could the driver remind customers that it will cost them 3.00 to exit the car park? Our credit cards were buried under the luggage in the boot. A bit embarassing at check out.

Ended up waiting 45 mins for returned car due to mislabelling of vehicle suggesting we were returning at 07.00 instead of 23.45, so several other cars needed to be moved to access ours - or so were told. They did pay for exit from GTW (3)and apologised and certainly not our previous experience which was good

I book these guys at the last minute. However, there was no problem. Pick up fairly prompt and drop off the same. Friendly and good service.

I was very disappointed with the customer service at Ace, when the car was delivered I was told to go to the office on the way out to validate my ticket. No mention of any charges to pay. When I arrived at the office I was told that I now had to pay 3.00 for parking as more than 5 minutes have passed. Apparently Ace do it to all their customers, unlike other companies who come with you to the barrier to let you out. I felt it was done in a very dishonest way and will not use Ace again.

the cheapest and good service overall. New process of drop off and pick up not yet reflected on the instructions - now need to pick up and drop off at the short stay car parks (and pay 3 to exit.. so have change with you!!)

Generally not bad. However a grumpy response because we arrived 10 minutes earlier than booked. Also there was an unexpected 3 charge to leave the short stay car park that had apparently been flagged in an email - but we didn't get the email.

Used other meet and greets before - this was cheaper - Drop off, he was with us in a couple of mins of arriving and collection where there when we got there. Only thing different to the others is its in the car park so you pay a few quid to get out, but it still made it cheaper. Guy who dropped off the car was very pleasant, even called us, as we took a while to get to the car park.

Was directed to 6th floor of car park - not outside terminal as advertised. Waited for 30 minutes on arrival - despite ringing to confirm 20 mins before arrival This all took place at 4.30am ... With two children under 5 and a pregnant wife. Contrastingly the pick up service worked perfectly ... Though I had to pay an unadvertised 3 short term parking fee Never again will I risk this service ... I feel I wasted 100

On arrival at Gatwick airport the man on the end of the phone was unfriendly and abrupt, especially as we were expecting to leave the car at "drop off" and he told us to go to level 6, car park 6! When we told him that our emailed instructions said otherwise he bluntly said we would get charged 80 if we went to drop off and did not elaborate on why, leaving us confused and annoyed. The man who took the car was pleasant and explained the situation to us adding that the man on the end of the phone is always grumpy. On our return, again we expected to collect the car just outside the airport as the email instructed. Once again we were told otherwise and to go to level 4, car park 6. When I made a follow up phone call to find out where the car was and how long it might be I was given another abrupt answer. We also had to validate the parking ticket at a cost of 3. While this is not a huge amount it was an unexpected cost and no explanation was offered as to why we had to collect the car from the car park and pay for the privilege. We emailed Ace Parking on Sunday, raising the issues above. it is wednesday evening now and we still have not heard anything back. To sum up; it worked, but was not a pleasant experiance and did not pan out as advertised.

The service wasn't bad, particularly as our flight was cancelled so we were a day later than expected. However, when we collected our car from the orange car park at gatwick south terminal, we were given a ticket and old we would have to 'validate' it at the customer service office. When we went in, it became apparent that what the driver actually meant was pay for the ticket. The person in the customer service office asked if we had used a meet and greet service and that the ticket should have been paid for by the meet and greet company. Although it wasn't a great deal of money, we had had a stressful return journey due to the flight cancellation, we waited quite a while for the driver to turn up despite making phone calls to update on our arrival once we had landed, we incurred additional parking charges which we are trying to reclaim from our insurer and then we had to pay for the ticket. The arrangement to meet in the carpark is your choice of arrangement and I would not expect to have to pay as a result of this.

I have used meet and greet parking many times before at Gatwick and this was the worst experience I have had. I was told that they could not meet at the Terminal so had to go all the way to the 6th floor of the short stay car park - both collection and return. I am led to believe that as they do not meet the standards set by Gatwick Airport, they are not allowed to use the drop off area. I had to wait for the car to be returned and was handed a ticket and told I had to pay to get out of the car park. So much for advertising no hidden charges. Their customer services have fobbed me off. I would not use this company again - there are plenty others and all similarly priced.

Arrival at the airport was efficiency personified as the driver was already waiting, although he was a little nonplussed by the overseas registered vehicle. However the return was marred by after the car had been returned, the car park where the delivery took place tried to charge me for car parking. This resulted in a lengthy delay to myself and family (including two small children) and other drivers waiting to leave the car park while I had to deal with a particularly officious car park employee.

Waited 15 mins for Ace to meet us. Disappointed that we had to pay to exit short-stay car park on our return. Felt this should have been covered by Ace, even though this seemed to be caused by a recent change in the system for meet and greet at Gatwick.

I dropped my car off easily and efficiently but the return was terrible. I had to wait for 20 minutes for the car to arrive then the guy went off to do the ticket and didn't return for another 20 minutes. He claimed there was a problem with the machine but 3 other cars came and went in that time. All of this was compounded by the fact that when I phoned for an update the person answering was consistantly rude with me. I will never use Ace parking again as a result.

The car was collected reasonable quickly form the time of calling we arrived about 30mins early and had to wait 25mins. On return Gatwick Airport had changed the arrangement for kerbside car collection and drop. we had to to to the top floor of Orange car park and wait for the car to arrive, this took about 10mins. However, when the car turned up it was absolutely covered in dust grime, pine needles, feathers etc. I can only assume it had been parked under a tree somewhere. This is not what I had paid for as it had been through a carwash the day before dropping it off. I feel the storage facility wherever it may be is quite inadequate. If you are going to store the vehicle in some dusty environment at least put the hose over the car before returning it please! As for the arrangement where you have to enter a multi storey car park to drop your vehicle off, this is not the Kerbside meet and greet service that I have been accustomed to.

Used ACE last time we travelled and were very impressed so had no hesitation in booking again. Last week however it became clear the service has now gone downhill possibly because the company is over subscribing and has become disorganised. We waited half an hour for someone to collect the car from us, in which time we couldn't caught the bus from a cheaper car park. Then when we arrived at gatwick we had to wait 20 minutes at midnight for the car to arrive. Then we were handed a car parking exit ticket which I assumed would have been paid for by ace, but when we got to the barrier we had to pay 3! We questioned this with a nearby rep who told us we need to take it up with ace directly. This is outrageous considering we had already paid 70 for the valet parking service. This is not valet parking in my opinion. Very disappointed.

A bit more expensive this time but that depends on when and how early you book I guess. Everything went as it should again (2nd time we hvae used them), driver was waiting for us when we got to Gatwick (at 430am!), very friendly. No problems when picking up, called them when we had out baggage, made our way to the car park, waited 5-10mins which was fine, drop off driver was very friendly and helpful too. A point worth noting, now that the pick up point has moved (not sure about drop off) you now have to also pay to get out of the car park, which is not a big deal as it is only 3 or so but just a heads up for people really. We will definitely use them again.

No problems on departure, but return was a nightmare. Instead of a driver pulling up outside the terminal with our car, we had to collect it from an airport car park!! Until they get their act together, I don't think you can call this ameet and greet service
