BCP didn't offer mid term parking for a weekend break away although I assume this would have been cheaper and the facility is there. You drive along way to the car park originally told that you would need to insert your original credit / debit card but all you do is take a ticket which has to be validated at the desk at arrivals - don't forget your confirmation, you'll need it to prove you've already paid before they'll let you have your car! However they do not take your car keys and move your car to a secure location as it says, you'll find it exactly where you left it so make a note of the area you're in, it's a big carpark!

The gate computer did not take the card and I had to take a normal one, I did not find instructions how to get out. Thanks to a very agreable bus driver I was able to do it.I appreciate that everything is computerized but I was missing a member of staff at the site.

I pre-booked with my credit card, but the gate would not accept it, which meant I had to go to customer services. This problem was made was by the fact that customer services was not on site!

We were told to proceed to exit and swipe credit card used for prepayment to exit. This did not work and delayed our exit, a pain when returning late at night.

Parking here was fine, only the instructions were old. There is no reception desk to book in at you just take a ticket and on return get it validated in the terminal.Could confuse some people.

Arrival info that was e-mailed was inaccurate, stated to park & leave keys in office but this Pink car park works the same as the short term one - you find a space & get on the bus. Simple but un-necessary confusion with instruction. P.

The carpark easy to find although the colour of the signs has faded somewhat. Make sure you pick up you ticket and take it with you. Don't forget to make a note of the location of you car and the bus stop you use. Also have your booking confirmation if booked online, you'll need it when you get back and have you ticket validated. I was slightly confused by the instructions as the website had said you need the credit card you booked with to get into the carpark. That isn't true. You have to take a ticket and get it validated on your return, hence the requirement to have your booking confirmation with you to ensure you get the ticket validated and don't get charged extra.

i have used luton airport regularly and this is by far the best car park.you park the car yourself and keep keys.buses are more frequent and only take 2 minutes, and you are spared the shockingly rude staff at the other off airfield long stay car park

Overall, what you'd expect of an on-airport car park service. However the print-out should have included instructions to have the ticket validated at the terminal in order to get out of the carpark without having to pay again.

On the whole it was ok. when we booked it said go to reception hand in keys and the car will be moved. On arrival there was no reception just a car park where the car stayed. better than it being moved in my opinion. and use the card it was booked with on the way in and on the way out but we had to go to the NCP kiosk at the airport on arrival back. so the information when booked was totally different from what we had to do. slightly misleading but we got there in the end.

Overall, we found this car-park was excellent value and suited our needs. Clear instructions as to how to get ticket authenticated on our return, altho' it would have been helpful to have been told where in the airport the booth was located. Buses every 15 mins to and from airport. Would definitely use again. Advise people to read the instructions before travelling!

I had to rush to the airport and so did not have the opportunity to print and bring my booking reference. The staff at Luton airport refused to assist me and so as well as pre-booking I also had to pay on the car park machine too, so I paid twice. S Halil (Booking Ref: R770619). In this day and age of technology I would have expected the airport staff to be able to look up my booking on the computer.

The parking at Luton airport was easy to find. The buses were very regular. It just took a bit of time to get the pre-booked ticket stamped at the NCP desk inside the terminal. Otherwise, good value for money and I definitely would use them again.

I booked via simplyparking initially, but then my flight was changed to the previous day and I had to re-book the parking; the new papers didn't mention simplyparking or "Pink" long term parking, though the "P" sign was pink, so I don't know whether I was in the same car park or not. I was sent a different set of instructions, too, and found the whole thing very confusing. I was not aware of any security, nor did I see any staff other than the driver of the transfer bus, though there may have been some, but my car was still there, unharmed, when I returned to it 5 days later, and the transfers worked well. That is all I can say. I hope very much that my initial booking, with simplyparking for the "Pink" car park, will have been properly cancelled, so that I don't find I've paid twice!

Even though the wait for the bus is long, it would really help if there are protected (closed) spaces where one could wait for the bus. We parked our cars at 4 am and we were freezing (even if for a short while) before the bus came...the rest of the experience in using this car parking was too great..helpful staff, near to airport and quick transfers

the bus driver was horrible and rude when he picked us up was happy to leave me and take my family, not enough buses at the time of return there should be a rule that all cases are put on the racks provided so the people can get on the bus properly. also in the email you should say that you will need the reference number on your return as well as the ticket to book out of the carpark.in the dark the pink signs could pass as orange so you should have pink written in letters under it or better lighting

we found the parking at luton competativly priced and with a bus service every 15min it made our flight from luton stress free. only problem we had was when we went to pay before leaving the terminal the casier made a mistake with our ticket and had to keep our ticket. however he let us out over the intercom when we got to the gates. would not hesitate to use this parking service again.

On return to Luton there was a long wait for the transfer bus and it was then very full. On arriving at the car park, instead of dropping off the passengers first and then taking on outward bound passengers there was complete confusion and the process took a long while. The car park was a mess trying to find where to park on the outbound journey.

Maybe it would be a little better if you could validate your ticket in a machine BEFORE your trip so it would save time queuing up on return. With a prepaid booking a ticket could be programmed to only allow exit up to the day specified - this would just speed up the procedure. ALSO - how about a machine at each pick up point that would imprint the stop/area number in a space on the ticket - thus saving time looking for your car on return (We wrote ours on the ticket but many people forget this or do not even carry a pen )- we saw a lot of "lost souls" looking around for their cars when we got back - this would even improve security as there is then less justification for people to be wandering about. Regards, Roger Sadler.

Parking at Luton Airport is really convenient, being just a few minutes by bus from the terminal. The car parks are well sign posted, using a colouring system (pink for long term, green for mid term, etc)and there are regular bus transfers to the terminal.
