Purple Parking operate a chauffeur parking service for those wishing to be met at the Heathrow Terminal of their choice. Have your car taken and stored at the Purple parking secure compound and brought back to the terminal on your return. Purple Parking is 1 of 31 Heathrow Parking options and has been rated 83% by 100 previous customers.
Arrival Procedure
On arrival at the designated area, you will be met by a chaffeur who will be wearing a black jacket and cap with a Purple Parking ID tag. Full details of the return procedure will be given to you by the chaffeur.
IMPORTANT: If you are going to be later than your pre-booked arrival time, you must contact the car park on 0845 850 5455 to advise them.
A no-show fee of £25.00 will be charged by the car park for non-arrivals and cancellations made within one hour of the pre-booked meet time.
Departure Procedure
Call the freephone number given when your car was collected. Your vehicle will then be returned to you at the designated area.
Security at Purple Parking
- Car parking compound is monitored 24/7 by CCTV security cameras.
- Car park areas are floodlit at night for additional security
- High security fencing surrounds the car parking compound.
- Entry and exit barrier controls in operation at this car park.

Vehicle restrictions
There is a height restriction at the car park of 2.4 metres (or 7.5 feet) due to a tunnel on the approach to the car park. Vans are okay as long as they can get through the tunnel.
Other Important Information
This service is only available if pick up and return times are between 5am and midnight.
You will not be able to wait on the departures level therefore you must arrive at the agreed meeting time. If your arrival time changes please notify Purple Parking by calling them on 0845 850 5455.
Directions for Meet and Greet location
Clients will be met by the Purple Parking Chauffeur at the designated terminal.
- Terminal 1: Drive up ramp to departures in the left lane. Follow road round to left down on to the lower section. The chauffeur will meet you in this area.
- Terminal 2: Drive to furthest lane away from the departure building.
- Terminal 3: Drive to second or third lane outside the departure building.
- Terminal 4: Drive to second or third lane outside the departure building.
- Terminal 5: Drive up the ramp towards Departures, bearing right at the sign for "Short Stay and Passenger Pick Up". Drive under the height restriction arm and keep left, following the sign for "Fast Track". At the entrance barrier, take a ticket (there will be nothing to pay). Once inside, follow the arrows on the road to "Row L", where Purple Parking's chauffeur will meet you and take your parking ticket.

As usual a very quick and efficient service. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely use Purple Parking again.
Would recommend this service to anyone who has young children or elderly people travelling with them. You are met directly outside the airport, just hand over your car and off you go. The staff were punctual and very friendly and helpful. On return there is a short wait for your car, no waiting in queues and hauling heaving luggage onto buses. I use this service every time now.
Made the process of arriving/departing the airport easier although the collection and return of the vehicle could have been better.
Car collection at terminal on departure was as scheduled - though they couldn't accomodate our early arrival. Our journey to airport had taken less time than we expected. Arrived promptly on arrival back at heathrow at end of holiday. Overall very pleased
If you are prepared to pay the extra money then this service is ideal for those travellers who want to leave it as late as possible to arrive at the Departure Terminal as well as those who want to be "on the road" immediately they get out of the Arrivals building.
Unclear drop-off instructions resulted in 40 minutes wait to drop-off. Sub-contractors explained this by saying that they operated a different system from Purple Parking! Poor communication resulted in 45 minutes wait in the freezing cold to get car back. Six calls to the office and they couldn't link us with the driver until the 6th call. Have used many other meet and greet services at LHR and LGW and have never experienced problems with any other firms.
This service makes the beginning and end of a journey so much less stressful. Easy and efficient, we were in the car and on our way within thirty five minutes of landing at terminal five. Contact details were clear and telephone calls answered swiftly and drivers courteous. We will use this service again.
First time I have used the service, I was pleasantly surprised. No hiccups, hassel free and extremely good value for money. I will definately use this service again
On departure we arrived early at Heathrow, due to lack of traffic, and only had to wait 10 minutes for a driver to come and meet us. Very polite and helpful. When we arrived home we phoned as we got off the plane and the car was waiting for us as we came out of arrivals.
Much better than findinga car park and then getting on a bus - particularly good when coming back home after a long journey having your car available at the terminal.
10 minute wait for collector to pick up car. 10 minute wait for car on return despite calling more than 30 minutes beforehand, otherwise fine.
unfortunately our return flight was cancelled which meant our meet and great service had to be altered. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very efficient when re-arranging the delivery of my car and stayed in contact with me to let me know exactly when the car would be at the terminal. Very impressed with all the contacts I had from booking to having my car returned as prompt as possible under the circumstances. I have used purple parking before and have always found them to be reliable and friendly.
need to inform us how long we have to wait when retrieving the car- we froze!!! Could have waited outside had we knowm we would have to wait 20 mins, but otherwise, fine.
WHen I arrived at the airport they had no record of my booking, perhaps because when I made my booking there was no scope to choose Terminal 5 (only 1-4) on the website. However, they sorted things out quickly by making a telephone call. No problems on arriving back.
Although we were slightly early as soon as we phoned our booking was sorted out and the car was collected. The same coming back. All in all we were impresssed and would recomend the chauffered parking.
This was my first experience with non-official valet parking at Heathrow and I was very pleased with the profesionalism of Purple Parking. The gentlemen in purple trimmed jackets are hard to miss (funny that I had never noticed them before). It is certainly better value than official airport valet for longer trips. I'll use them again. ONE TIP: unlike official Heathrow valet, these guys really want you to call as soon as you land; even before you get your luggage. I left it until luggage was collected and so we had a 20 minute wait (which the dispatcher explained when I called). My wife and I passed the delay pleasantly by shopping in the post-customs airport shop.
Before my journey I was a little anxious there would be problems with the collection of my car, but I need not have worried. I arrived at LHR and Purple Parking were waiting for me so I was able to hand the car over immediately. On my return, my experience was equally good. I did not have to wait long before my car was delivered to me. I will most definitely use this service again.
On the journey to the airport due to traffic congestion it was clear i would not meet my scheduled arrival time . I called to advise of my delay and was pleasantly suprised at the ease of altering the arranged drop off time . Furthermore my return to the UK was revised by one day , again the rescheduling was executed with politeness and efficiency.I would reccomend this service to others.
Particularly when travelling early in the morning or coming back later in the day, having someone there to take your car off your hands as soon as you arrive and then return it in the condition you left it when you return makes a big difference to your holiday experience.
