good value for money, clean room, food was good, staff efficient, shuttle bus took us & collected us from the airport with no problems.I would use this hotel again, good value for money.
Our room was excellent, large with plenty of space to do any last minute luggage sorting. Bed was very comfy for a good night's sleep. Restaurant looked pricey, so drive a few miles into town to find something more reasonable. Parking was right outside the front of the hotel, and car was nearby on return. Transfers are not quite 'on demand' as advertised, but were every 30 minutes (which at 4am is not bad!). Return transfer sinmply by phoning on arrival. Transfer quick and easy. All in all, would definitely use again.
very clean/comfortable hotel rooms. Food and drinks abit pricey but so are all the other hotels.Transport to and from airport very reliable.staff very friendly.
Early morning wake-up call was on time, and transfer service from and back to hotel was excellent. Hotel dining room was cold, which didn't encourage us to stay to have dessert! Recommend booking-in for EasyJet the evening before your flight as the airport is empty at that time, and you don't have to get up quite so early next morning.
Friendly, not enough choice for breakfast ,waited far to long for pick up not enough transport room was dated and carpet stained difficult to shave as no plug room set on road noise of traffic and hairdriers and baby crying in other rooms made very difficult to sleep the parking was fine being able to take your keys with you made it feel safe kind regards d chapman
Because M3 was closed, took 4 hrs to arrive. arrived 10.35. There was nothing available to eat, not even a sandwich. In morning the reception staff made a light breakfast and coffee for us before the kitchen opened, which was very helpful. The reception staff were very helpful and I would use hotel again
everything just fine for an over night stop with car parking thrown in. transfers very prompt and easy. staff efficient and pleasant. restaurant and bar seemed pretty good. only down side the aa route finder instructions were a shambles and should be looked into. all in all a good experience.
We decided to stay near Gatwick prior to our midday flight, as the M3 motorway is a nightmare with the road works. Anyway the hotel looks very smart from the outside. The entrance lobby is rather smart and the check in was quick and pollite. The rooms were clean, tidy, and well decorated. The bathroom was moden with the usual free toiletries and plenty of hot water! We had breakfast in the resturant and the full english was plentifull and very resonably priced. I can recomend this hotel. The airport transfer was quick both ways and free!
We arrived at Cambridge hotel and were greeted by friendly staff who explained process for shuttle bus to and from the airport. We were shown to our room which was large, bright and very clean. Had a great nights sleep and the following morning had breakfast in the restaurant which was very good. Shuttle bus was waiting for us at the time we book and had smooth transit to the airport. On returning to UK called the hotel and the shuttle bus was waiting for us when we arrived at the pick up point. On arrival back at the hotel our car was parked outside reception. Overall and very good hotel offering a complete and very reliable service for people using Gatwick airport. Would highly recomment this hotel.
Very clean, TV didn't work in room, and didn't receive early morning call. Breakfast good and airport shuttle service good. On return they couldn't find our keys and then when keys were find our car blocked in - all sorted out eventually but delayed us getting home.Staff were very helpful though.
staff very helpfull when we returned my daughters car didn't start, a member of staff found jump leads and used the mini coach to start her car enabling us to get home. We would use the hotel again as the rooms were clean and comfortable. We found staying at the hotel much better than trying to travel up and using the airport parking.
Room was excellent and so was bathroom facilities. We were not disturbed with any noise from planes. Transfer to airport was quick and efficient and upon our return they picked us up very quickly when we phoned through to let them know we had arrived back. Car was looked after and the whole stay helped our holiday to begin and end very smoothly with no problems. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends.
Would definately use the Cambridge again and would recommend to others.Everthing was perfect from checkin , parking and arranging transportation. it made a great start and end to the holiday.
Three lady adults one a pensioner were placed in the attic. With no lifts it was a job to lift the luggage up all the stairs. Walking up the stairs we noticed many empty rooms. Why could we not be offered a vacant room lower down. They were still vacant when we left at 5.45am. Although the room was excellent it was too hot to sleep
The stay overnight was excellent and a very good start to our holiday. We could not fault the hotel in anyway and would recommend the Gatwick Cambridge Hotel to anyone.
Lovely hotel easy to find. Superb customer service, exceptionally clean rooms. Very nicely decorated breakfast room /dining /pub area. Only gripe is that a la carte menu was expensive ,could do with a pub or lighter option menu.We drove back down the road to the Harvester to eat.Bar prices at hotel were fine. Would definately go back ,recommended.
Very nice rooms. Clean and well decorated. Nice staff
would use again but eat at the airport, very frendly and once there you do not need to move the car again
Very convenient and well organised with polite and efficient staff. It provided service exactly as advertised.
Hotel was great - room clean , lovely bathroom , good quality towels , easy check in , friendly staff.airport transfer very efficient- even at 3am when we left , would consider using this hotel/parking deal again.
