The room was extremely spacious & clean. The reception & bar staff were very helpful. Meal was quite adequate & nicely served. The best aspect of our stay was the 24hr transport to & from the airport & the 15 day car parking. All extremely good value for money.

On Arrival at the hotel there was ample parking, check in was easy, we were asked about transfers to the airport and at what time we would require pick up. Room was very large and clean, there was a large bar/lounge and thecbarman was friendly and helpful. We recommend the evening meal, great variety menu, fabulous food. Again all staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wake up call in the morning, and we came to reception at the agreed time, our driver was waiting, carried out our bags and swiftly took us to Gatwick airport. We were given a leaflet which told us where to go to be picked up after our holiday which also included the hotel telephone number. On arrival back into the uk we were glad we had the leaflet because without it we were lost. We rang the hotel, they arrange for the minibus to pick us up and in around 15 mins were on our way back to the hotel. Once more we were greeted with a friendly smile we checked out and our car was waiting in the compound. We can recommend the Cambridge hotel to anyone, value for money!!

Arrived at hotel and parked car, checked in, room was lovely and better than I had expected, had a good nights sleep and our transport was outside waiting for us the next morning to take us to airport. All in all a perfect start to our holiday. Thank you.

we didnt arrive until very late in the evening but were made extremely welcome. We ate in the dining room and could not fault the menu also extensive range for the children.staff were very helpful and polite and made our transfer to gatwick effortless.

We thought it was very good value for money, had a large clean room and the transfers were good. We started our holiday by having a lovely meal in the restaurant, we chose Turkish style food, but there were other choices. We would use the Cambridge Hotel again.

Friendly welcome, comfortable and quiet double room on the lower ground floor, extra pillows provided on request, superb T-bone steak for dinner, prompt and flexible return shuttle service to LGW, car looked after during our holiday, and all for a very fair price. Very nice place overall and we'll be back. One amusing point: using the post code in the sat-nav takes one to a bus stop 1/4 mile beyond the hotel, but you'll see the hotel on the way past!

I'm very pleased with this hotel and will use it again when I next fly from Gatwick. Transfers are not quite on-demand (half hourly at the time we were leaving - 6 a.m.) and the bus did divert to pick up at another hotel. We also waited at the South Terminal for at least 5 minutes for a pick-up that didn't arrive before the driver took us to the North Terminal. So the transfer took about 25 minutes in total. Luckily, we had left plenty of time and weren't stressing! Pick up from the airport was pretty good, but we couldn't actually get into our car on return because it had been parked so close to the next one! Still, a member of staff moved the offending vehicle fairly quickly. In general, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the transfer worked pretty well and the hotel was excellent value for money. There was some road noise in the room and it was very hot (it was -2 deg C outside, the heating must have been on full blast!), but otherwise, no problems.

We arrived in the second week of January the rooms were satisfactory but found it off putting the owner seem to be discipling staff in the bar which was empty apart from ourselves and another couple and he seemed oblivious to us being there. Our meal in the evening was very poor and the only other couple in the restaurant sent their meal back but I have to say that we were not charged for one meal. Needless to say we were concerned that they were unable to delivery meals to two tables satisfactorily. On our return to collect the car they had one transfer bus and we stood for an hour and half waiting in the cold because the hotel collects from another hotel so the bus can be half full when the mini bus arrives. We called the hotel twice to see where the bus was as we were told it would be a 20 min wait after collecting our bags not so. The really annoying thing was that a second minibus sat idle on the car park of the hotel and we got the impression that the owner refused to staff it. After all the hotel knows how many people are due to arrive back on a specific date. The staff were as helpful as they could be. We shall not be using them again as they seem unable to cope in the low season goodness knows how they perform in the high season.

the experience was good, straight forward, rooms were good and clean - the only thing we were disapointed by was the car when we got back was in a muddy field, it was late at night and there were no security lights working.

Felt wary after reading other reviews, but for an overnight stay and 8 days parking, it was good value. Warm comfy room and especially liked the warm bathroom! Airport transfers very smooth both ways, friendly helpful staff and I would be inclined to use the hotel again for airport parking if required in the future.
