Clean hotel staff good and helpful. At airport I could not find any indication that bus stop no 11 was the one for Moat House although this may have been more obvious had a cab driver not told me it was further along where in fact courtsey vans for smaller hotels stop, where I watched the Moat house coach go past me !

The rooms were clean and had everything needed for a the short stay. The breakfast the next morning was really nice with alot of choice, just what you needed to start your day off. The staff were friendly and helpfull. I would def stay their again when we go away in the future.Good value for money.

A very comfrotable hotel. Excellent dinner at very reasonable prices plus good selection at breakfast. Staff without exception were all very pleasant and made guests feel welcome. A most enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend. Our first stay but certainly hope to return.

We left at 12.30am as the hotel was exceptionally noisy. We explained this to the reception but they seemed not interested. The beds were uncomfortable. We had a family room for 3 people. The single bed for the child was just a put you up and the matress was dreadful. The double bed was a single bed with a side attachment. We feel that this is not the kind of standard that this chain of hotels should offer. We would not recommend this hotel. Your reply would be much appreciated.

If like us you are traveling down south to use the Gatwick airport it's a fantastic hotel to stop at because it only takes five minuites to transfer to the airport which is great for early morning flights.Well recomended.Richard and clan Ossett Westyorkshire.

enjoyed our stay. unfortuntely we did not get to eat in the hotel to rate the food in the evening as ordered a meal from the bar menu about 9.15pm which did not arrive, when it did it was cold and then when we complained it was re-heated and not replaced so the meal was overcooked!. We were given an apology, some compliamentary crisps, our money back for the meal and the drinks we had purchased to go with it. by this time it was too late in the evening (10pm)to order again as we needed to get some sleep for our early start. I would like to add also that the bus stop board at gatwick states "Best Western moat house". We spend 15 minutes walking around and asking for "Gatwick moat house" as we did not know from our email confirmation that this was a Best western hotel.this wasted time, made us miss a bus, and us very frustrated!eventually it was another bus driver that pointed out to look for Best Western Gatwick moat house. Also our email confirmation said breakfast was served from 6.30am but when we got there the restaurant had been open from 6am. we had to get the 7.15am transfer bus so we would have gone for breakfast earlier had we known and not rushed ourselves waiting for 6.30am. you email confirmation is what we take to the hotel so it should be more accurate.

Fantastic service, parking and hotel. Would definatley recommend especially when flying with Virgin. You can do a 'twilight' chek in, taking your bags to the airport the night before, and having a hastle free departure.

The hotel looked tired, much like many British hotels. It felt in need of modernisation. But it was claen and comnforable - and convenient. I did wonder why the courtesy bus, on leaving the hotel, went away from the airport for about a mile and a half to pick up people from another hotel when it would seem to be more convenient to start the service there, pick up at the Moat House and then go straight to the airport.

Booking was easy Hotel was within easy access of airport You could arrange to book in and out at any time Room very well appointed and comfortabe Unlike many hotels the bed was very comfortable

Not advised of difficulty of transfer from car park to hotel. It would have been easier to have driven to car park and then direct to airport rather than waiting over an hour for the bus for return to hotel. Not a good service.

The hotel feels generally run down and tired. The food at dinner was no more than acceptable. Despite being close to the airport, the sound insulation in the bed room was very effective. Time to drive from hotel to parking was very short.

The hotel was centrally air conditioned and heated so the temperature for the room could not be individually set. The bar and room were absolutely freezing (and it was a mild early September) and we were brought an electric heater for the room which helped. The room was like a small cell and would have been functional purely for a one night stop over had we been able to sit in the bar but that area was also very cold and eventually it became too uncomfortable to sit there which is when we returned to the room and asked about heating. I would not recommend this hotel and there are others in the area that would provide a cheap over night stay with more comfort.

Ideal locaction for Gatwick airport. 2nd time of staying at this hotel; £25 cheaper last year! Acceptable food from efficient Room Service. Near to the Airport with half-hourly transport to and from the Terminals/Hotel.

We were very tired so did not complain, but when we book a room for three adults we do not expect one to have to sleep in a bunk bed, also one that was so close to the double bed I bumped my head when I got out of bed.
