- 05.00 to 10.00 - Every half hour
- 11.00 to 17.00 - Every hour
- 17.30 to 11.30 - Every 45 minutes
Transfers are charged at £2.50 per person each way, take approximately 10 minutes and are on a first-come/first-served basis.
If parking on-airport at the Summer Special car park, transfers to the North terminal are included in the price and operate 24 hours a day. If flying from the South terminal, guests should take the free 24 hour monorail service from the North terminal, which runs every 3 minutes and takes around 2 minutes.
If the Airparks parking package is selected, transfers are included in the price and operate 24 hours a day, taking approximately 15 minutes to both terminals.
Parking Arrangements
Parking at hotel: Package includes up to 15 days' parking on-site at the hotel. You may be asked to park in a car park adjacent to the hotel, within 5 minutes' walking distance.
Parking at Summer Special: Package includes parking at Gatwick Airport's Summer Special Car Park (near the North Terminal). You park overnight at the hotel. Reception will give you a voucher to exchange for long-term parking when you take your car to the airport car park in the morning.
Parking at Airparks Gatwick:
Park overnight at the hotel, then in the morning take your vehicle to Airparks. If you do not have your printed parking voucher with you, ask hotel reception before checking out and they will provide you with a voucher. The car park recommends that you leave the hotel at least 30 minutes prior to your earliest airport check-in time.
Directions to Airparks: Exit the hotel and turn left onto the dual carriageway, heading south on the A23/London Road. When you reach the first roundabout, take the 4th exit to come back down the A23 in the opposite direction. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit, Lowfield Heath/Crawley. Continue for 200 yards to a mini-roundabout and turn left. Airparks Gatwick is 1.5 miles on the right-hand side.
Upon arrival at the car park, stay in the left-hand lane and drive through the automatic barrier. Park your car in one of the arrivals bays, remembering your lane number. Go to reception and present your booking confirmation (or quote your booking reference), along with your vehicle and flight details. Please your vehicle keys in the red key box with the same number as the lane you've parked in, then catch the shuttle bus to your terminal. (Please remove all house keys, key fobs and personal items from your keyring.) Transfers to the airport are available 24 hours a day and take around 15 minutes to both terminals.
Please note: Prices quoted for transfers and additional parking days correct at time of publication. Additional days parking beyond the duration of your stay as indicated at the time of booking may incur additional fees.

I stayed in the Ibis the Thursday when the Volcano crisis started and of course my early morning flight the next day was cancelled like thousands of others. Reception could not of been more helpful should I have needed the extra night, and finding out all the info for us all. Certainly recommend this Hotel, also for the fact its so close to the Airport, 5 star thanks Steve Harris
Good rooms and excellent parking facillities. The hotel staff were very helpful. As a hotel for Gatwick Airport the Ibis is conveinient and comfortable. I would certainly use it again.
Decent accomodation close to a very nice pub and with good personal transfer to the airport.
This was a beautiful hotel. Not far from the airport, and the trasfer to the airport was ontime and helpful. I would use this hotel again in my future traveling.
The room was very comfortable, the staff very courteous and everything was spotlessly clean. The bar/restaurant was very clean and reasonably priced with excellent food and courteous waiters. The transfer to airport shuttle service actually departed about 1 minute before it should have and, although I got a refund for having missed this service, I had to book a local taxi instead, which proved to be twice the price.
I can thouroughly recommend the hotel, it was clean and the staff very friendly. We had a meal in the restaurant which was well priced and just what we needed prior turning in for the night.
The staff were curteous and helpful and our room was very comfortable and adequate. My only suggestion would be that hairdryers be provided in the rooms. We thought the minibus to the airport was quite expensive, especially compared to other hotels we have stayed in, we had to pay 4.50 each for a single trip - this also appears to run on a first come first serve basis which at a busy time could cause problems with checkin times etc. Other than this our stay was good with a nice meal from the small restaurant.
booking site indicated that smoking room was available and that transfers (to/from) airport included but had to pay for one transfer and smoking room only available after lengthy discussion with manager
Simple and basic but clean and light room. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Will use again.
Transfer to & from airport in hotel's own minibus. Hotel very basic; ideal for cheap overnight between flights. Rooms are basic but comfortable and adequate for the purpose.
I was extremely disappointed with the hotel; the smell in the room was appalling and it actually made me physically sick. My boyfriend and I did not even want to use the covers on the bed as it smelt dirty...we would not even use the bathroom in the room as it turned our stomach and the idea of eating there was out of the question. We are so pleased we arrived late at night and left 1st thing. Neither of us would ever stay in that hotel or any other Ibis again.
Perfect for an overnight stay with parking close to Gatwick Airport! I would definitely recommend the hotel to others and will use it again!
The room was clean enough, but road noise level was terrible, had to keep window shut all night! My husband could not make the bartender understand what a vodka and coke was! Also they forgot to give us our early morning call, didn't even get an apology, so our holiday started in a panic, didn't even have time to shower before we left for the airport! I would not stay there again! Unless they refunded my money based on their 15 minute response promise!
A greeting goes a long way - it was unnerving to be the only passenger in a coach where not a word was spoken from the airport to the hotel! A welcoming smile, or a warm welcoming phrase would put a tired traveller at ease; after all, it was not some Board Meeting where someone was going to be hauled over the carpet! Three people were going to take my order at the table, the waitress on duty bringing up the rear, and the dining-room was not particularly busy; struck me as a little odd. They should place hotel/room information on the bedside table - I never noticed it until I was about to leave! The stand is neat, but subconsciously it seemed like an advertisement for something other than the hotel's services. And many of us are impervious to advertisers! I have enjoyed staying at Ibis Hotels on the continent, but even though clean and efficient, this one left me with a feeling of indifference in the air.
We used the hotel for an early morning flight from Gatwick. It was acceptable for a single night, although not somewhere you'd want to spend much time. The restaurant looked small but ok (we didn't use it).
The room had bad drain smell and we had to keep water in the sink with the plug in to try to eliminate it. The bed was very firm, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The room reminded us of basic accomodation in student halls of residences-plastic chair etc. The whole hotel had the bad smell of gents toilets. We would certainly never stay there again and recommend it to no-one. The staff were all foreign and we had to pay for the transfer which we had assumed was included. By the time we had paid for these we could have stayed at the Hilton.
Good hotel, good staff. Transfers don't start until 5 I think so you have to have a taxi for earlier transfers. The food sounded great but was really poor.
Shuttle bus should have left at 5am. Driver didn't turn up until 5.10. Bus (elderly Ford Transit parked on site) thus cold when we were finally on board. Finally left 5.20. As the fare is 4.50 it was a very poor service. Also there were more people booked on it than were seats (time again wasted trying to sort things out with reception) meaning one guy had to be provided with a taxi. No apology given. Management please take note.
It meant that I could sleep safely during the limited time I had available. It was a significant increase in the cost of my holiday for a relatively small advantage. I judged this to be worth it to get 3 hours sleep!
The reception area staff's command of the English language was very limited. This led to my missing the transfer to the airport and meant I had the extra expense of a taxi. The variety of bar snacks left a lot to be desired. I would not stay here again.
