Rooms were newly decorated. Everthink I needed was there from internet to toiletries. Excellent staff. Only downfall was buses not running 24 hours.
Was impressed with the value for money, parking and hotel price was very good
Clean and quiet room, decent location, efficient shuttle to both terminals
Had a good experience at this hotel. The rooms were more than adequate for one night stay. The bar was extremely pricy and a little surpirsed our car was moved during the week. We were under the impression we parked and left it. Would use again.
Everything was as described and expected. Staff very happy to help, even at silly o'clock. Car parking and transfers fine.
The overnight stay and services offered by yourselves took the strain out of the family holiday
The room was nice and clean and adequate for a nights stay. We dined in the dining room which was very expensive. My dinner of salmon was so overcooked I couldn't eat most of it. My husband had fried fish and was just like a thin piece of fish coated heavily in breadcrumbs and again overcooked. Eat from the bar menu is advisable, or bring your own!!!
Dining at the hotel for a family of four was too expensive. However, just for an overnight before flying, and the parking, it was well worth it. Room was very clean & comfortable, staff friendly, efficient & helpful.
Reception staff exceptionally helpful.
We normally use a different hotel when we are looking for airport parking / over night stay but decided to use the Holiday Inn this time. We found the service to be great value for money, it was easy to park the car, We over looked the car park and I could see that the car would be well looked after, parking was flood lit and security staff were watching and walking around, The shuttle bus was comfortable and easy to use. Staff very helpful, we had to collect a day earlier than expected but staff had the car ready for us. Would use again - only downside was I ended up on fold down bed as kids slept in the double and it wasn't very comfortable. Hotel room was very clean and functional.
very clean and tidy and about as close as you will get to north terminal with good transfer services
Great value for money, bar proces expensive but I guess that it consistent with Airport parking/hotels. The room was very clean and well maintained but the bed was very uncomfortable. All in all though great value.
We were after a hotel for 'Park & Stay' that is convenient for the N Terminal LGW and the Holiday Inn did the trick. The parking system worked quite well and the accommodation was adequate, although I did feel it was a touch spartan. The transfer system worked well although I did not feel that the online advertising made it clear that there was a charge for this.
Overall really good value parking deal and much better rooms and food than I remember from using this hotel about 5 years ago. Just one thing to watch for - the first room we were given overlooked the bar / restaurant roof and there was a constant noise from the air con / extractor fans for these facilities. We went back to reception and were given a better quiet room - but check before you unpack!
We loved the holiday inn, excellent directions, service and transfers
all ok but drinks in the bar very expensive
Food was fairly expensive. Drinks exorbitantly priced. We waited abou 45 mins for airport transport back to the hotel. All in all we would probably choose a different hotel next time.
We found this option of park and stay prior to our holiday a great assect we had no panic with the time to travel from home to the airport No worry about taffic jams. The tansfers were run smoothly and on returnn we only had a few minutes to wait for the bus.
This is the first time I have used this facility and I have to say that it was a wonderful stress free start to our holiday. Parking was extremely easy and on the hotel site, and the transfer to & from the airport was simplicity itself with everything running to schedule. The dining was a bit on the expensive side but I would expect that in an airport hotel. Also I have to say that I booked this hotel on the basis of previous customer reviews. Will definitely be using this hotel again,
It took the stress out of finding parking and being to the terminal in good time
