We had a lovely suite and wished we could have stayed longer. We had a good nights sleep. It was much the most relaxing way to start a holiday rather than battling down the motorway first thing in the morning wondering if we'd catch the flight. The car parking worked well too.

All in all out stay was OK for one night. Like most hotels prices are expensive when it comes to eating. If you turn right when you come out of the the front of the hotel grouds you will come to a local pub called The Plough. The food in there was excellent and reasonably priced.

The first room I was given was for families and had interconnecting door which was far from soundproof. With the noisy people and kids in the next room it would have been impossible to sleep so I asked to be moved. The next room was much better. The cost of breakfast and other food at the hotel was very expensive, and I didn't eat there. Breakfast was cheaper at the airport. When I picked the car up after 15 days, it had been parked under a tree and was completely covered with bird droppings, like it was covered in purple pom-poms, some the size of small golfballs, as the birds had been eating dark berries. The car was a complete mess. Despite being tired from a long flight, I told the concierge to get it cleaned before we departed, which he did. I had no idea at that stage whether the paintwork had been burnt by the acid droppings, but the duty manager said the hotel manager would call me to find out if the car was undamaged. He never called. If promises are made, they should be kept. I shouldn't have had to go through that, the hotel should make sure that cars are properly stored and in the same condition when they are picked up as when they are dropped off. As an aside, and nothing to do with the hotel, the service provided by Heathrow Hoppa was OK but has to be the worst pounds-per-mile value bus service in the world at £8 for 2 people for a couple of miles. A captive audience rip-off. To sum up the hotel experience, rooms with interconnecting doors are not for couples, they are for families. Also, I can't afford to risk car damage again, and the possibility of resulting insurance claims, so I won't be using this hotel again for airport stays and parking.

I would certainly book this hotel again when I next fly from Heathrow - the price I got which included 2 weeks parking was actually cheaper than just booking parking alone at one of the many car parks around the airport. Rooms fairly standard but nice enough for the price and good bar / restaurant. Hotel hoppa bus is £4 per person each way and goes every 10 - 15 mins.

Went to our room which was clean but a little dated. Found the television had a very poor picture so called reception who promised an engineer, who was a long time arriving. He could not solve the problem and as he left, promising to arrange a room change, we noticed that he had trekked mud all over our room. Twenty minutes later I phoned reception who thought I had been moved, but said that I should go down to reception to get another key for a room two doors away. When we moved or cases to the new room we found the television to be exactly the same. I again phoned reception who promised to send someone up. Twenty mins later I phoned again as no one had arrived. Then a gentleman did arrive who proceeded to check the television as if doubting my complaint. He went to check further rooms on the same floor and was gone about 15 minutes. He returned with a cart and we moved to the 5th floor where I'm pleased to say the television worked fine. Overall not a good experience as this had taken about 90 mins alltogether. There were other mystery hotels around the same price, but you expect a four star to be better than this.

This was well positioned for Heathrow & very easy to find. Parking was great & as we were on there for a few says we did not have to leave our keys. The Hoppa Bus takes you from the hotel to the airport from outside. Hotel was clean, good choice of bars & resturants. Only gripe was that the bathroom was that clean, but it was only for one night so didn't matter too much.

Stayed in the hotel the night before we were due to fly to Thailand on holiday. However it was the Thursday night we stayed when the ash cloud crisis started and all the airports closed. We didnt get our holiday in the end...but had a pleasant stay in London in the Holiday Inn! We had booked the car parking service but collected our car the next day. The hotel was manic with people stranded and trying desperately to get accommodation. People were spending a fortune to stay there..one woman told us it cost her 500 dollars to stay the night, I only paid £90 including 2 weeks parking...i booked it as a secret hotel! The hotel is really nice and greatly positioned for the airport. I will say however, it is expesive, the shop and bars etc and you are not within walking distance to a shop! would definately book again:)

The staff were curtious and helpful and we would recommend the hotel to all our friends. We appreciate the service and care taken to ensure our car was secure considering we were stranded for an extra ten days. A discount was given without us asking for it. Thank you.

easy to find off the motorway, food good, alchol a bit overpriced, but usually the case in these hotels, room clean and comfortable. would have liked to have seen a bit more security around the car parks given the amount of signs up regarding car crime in area.

i booked this as a secret hotel. when i discovered it was holiday inn i wasnt overjoyed as it had been described as deluxe. i have stayed in the holiday inns many times, newer ones and was completely satisfied. the term deluxe made my expectations high and they were not met, even the little extras like a hot chocolate and a biscuit were missing. bed cover was a duvet cover with a blanket inside and although the room was warm this dosent feel very cosy in our coldest winter for 50 years!! tired decor, badly needs refreshing, really well worn, a big let down to the start of a nice holiday......not a 4 star by any stretch of the imagination.....premier inn next time

3 of us stayed the night before our New York Shopping Trip. Excellent rate for double bedded room and comfortable bed settee plus up to 8 nights parking. Shuttle bus to Terminal 3 costs £4 each, each way. Well recommended.

Hotel is conveniently located for accessing LHR. It is clean, quiet, well staffed with extremely polite and efficient people. Food is adequate and freshly prepared.Parking facilities are very good and free for up to 15 days with a daily increment if you are exceeding the fifteen days.A "Hoppa" bus will convey you to your Terminal at LHR and a taxi can also be used for a moderate charge if preferred. All in all well located for Airport passengers.
