The booking agency did not advise me that I needed to ring Purple Parking to confirm which terminal my flight departed from and did not pass on my mobile number to Purple Parking which was on the booking form. Consequently I arrived at Terminal 3 and the driver was at Terminal 1 and it took him 45 minutes to transfer between the two. The Purple Parking office staff were downright rude when I rang in. There was no contact telephone number given on the information I had been given and I had to get a number from one of the other drivers waiting to collect a car.

Collection driver was waiting for us, prompt, courteous and efficient. Delivery driver took 45 mins to get to us from the time we phoned (it didn't help that our flight had been on the tarmac for 30 mins waiting for a gate!), took our booking ticket, and ran off without a further word. We'll use them again (good value), but will ring to request delivery much sooner after arrival.

Firstly, its daunting leaving your car with some guy that in reality could be anyone! Once you're over that hurdle its great! I left my car and collected with no hassles (although I'd advise you call them as soon as you pass Passport control rather than wait until you get your baggage). Only concern was when I got home I saw a dint around the wheel arch of my car that I'm sure wasn't there before. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt but I realised that if you had a dispute with them you would struggle to prove anything. Its not like a hire car where you identify any marks before you hand the car over so on return there is something to compare to. If that is your concern you should probably highlight it at drop off. Other than that, if I was in a rush I'd do it all again!

This is an excellent service especially if you fly with children and luggage. The driver was waiting when I arrived on the terminal, though he didn't make any effort to get me a trolley :-(. On my return it took a while to return my car as the battery had gone flat after 6 weeks. It would be a good idea for the car park staff to start the car and check the tyre pressure etc. the day before it is due for collection for cars parked over 3 weeks. This way the customer need not wait in the car lane watching all the cars that enter the terminal building to find their own.

Would NOT use again under any circumstances Firstly NO driver to pick up car, as they said 2terminla had not been given" - almost lost flight Then upon arrival, found that TAX DISC had been STOLEN - nothing back from Purple parking, so POLICE had to be involved, case against them pending Would never suggest to anyone that they are worthwhile Sorry

We used the 'valet parking' service. It worked very well. My only comment would be that if , like us, you arrived back to Heathrow at a very busy time then phone for your car before you get to the baggage hall. We had to wait a bit for our car to arrive due to the heavy traffic.

I booked for the car to be at the airport at 9pm on the night of our arrival. We called at 8:38pm to say that we had got our baggage. At 9:30pm we called again to find out where our car was and the driver only arrived at 9:51pm. We had stood waiting all this time and we kept getting really lame answers as to why they were running late. Not our problem I had booked 9pm and we were there waiting at the correct time. It was cold our children were tired and the attitude of the driver was disgusting. As if he was doing us a favour!!! We use this type of service quite often for business and holidays. I will never use Purple parking again, ever!!!!

We arrived slightly early and had to wait 30 minutes in the cold to have our car collected. Similarly our flight returned earlier than originally scheduled so we had a short wait. Having extra Purple Parking staff available would have ben helpful. we would use the service again but probably not go for the valet parking service.

Driver was 40 minutes returning my car upon my arrival at Heathrow. When I spoke to customer services they told me the driver was on the way and should be there any minute (standard response !). When my car finally arrived the front driver side tyre was 95% flat and I had to change the tyre before I could drive off. I suspect that my driver was late because he attempted to pump up the tyre, before dropping off the car (possibly more than once), in the hope that I would not notice. The driver didn't hang around after dropping off the car so I couldn't even ask him about it. Finally, I don't know where they park the cars in relation to Heathrow, but somehow they managed to clock up 100 miles between me leaving the car and it being returned to me. I will never use Purple Parking again and I will ensure everyone in my company knows not to use them either. Extremely dissappointing service.

My vehicle has a petrol electric engine and there is no engine noise when it starts up. The driver on the return date thought this meant that the car was not starting and so got a colleague to jump start the vehicle. As a result all of the central locking/electric mirrors/boot etc had to be reprogrammed when I got the vehicle in order to get them to work properly. I asked the representative when I dropped off the car whether they were familiar with the workings of my vehicle and he said yes, although it appears that that was not the case for some of his colleagues.

we opted for this service as we have a 20 month old toddler and couldnt be doing with catching buses, and waiting around. we were delighted with the service,after an arduous flight from miami to find our car waiting and warmed was wonderful,the driver even helped load up the boot and we were away.thankyou.

We left our mobile phone in the car. I was impressed that you gave the phone to your driver and we only had to wait 20mins. The only problem was when we phoned for pick up the previous driver had written the wrong reference number on the slip. This didn't cause us a problem we just had to give our car reg. number.

The valet service is great; more money, but saves so much time and stress. You simply drive to the departures gate, someone is waiting with a trolley for you, he takes the car, you take the trolley and you're off. Returning, you simply call as you wait for your bags, and by the time you get out they are already there. No time driving to the carpark, to then have to queue for a bus and take a trip back to the airport, and the same upon returning, you just walk out and get into the car! I returned from the Maldives in my shorts and flip flops, although it was a cold october night I was only outside for 5 minutes whilst we loaded the car!!

We were late but we phoned ahead & the driver was there without a problem. Coming back we phoned when our carousel was allocated but still had to wait a good 15mins for the car to arrive but its still a lot easier than lugging luggage on those buses. Would recommend it every time for long haul flights.

The driver said that the tyre was flat and that he's been unable to get it pumped up as he hadn't noticed the fault when picking the car up from the compund. Since the tyre had only 6psi in it when i got to a garage it's obvious that he'd not been able to inspect the car at all.

Despite the fact that my car was collected late. It was one of your good hearted guys that helped me in getting some body over asap to collect my car for storage.For what the gentleman did, and your understanding due to the latness of my flight from New-Jersey USA I will still use your service.

The instructions from the SimplyParking.co.uk did not explain full process for leaving the car. This led to some serious stress as no-one was around to meet us as we dropped the car off because they did not know which Heathrow terminal to meet us at! Eventually the Purple Parking staff appearwed for other pick-ups and resolved the situation but the stress levels were high.

Being a family that travel, we find the worst park being the whole airpirt experience. Parking the car, finding a space, carrying luggage to a bus, bussing to the terminal, carrying luggage off the bus and into the airport etc.... Purple Parking took the sting out of that. We dropped our car off outside the terminal, a Purple staff member (not literally purple) was waiting to take my car to a secure compund, but more than that, he was waiting with a trolley and loaded our luggage for us. All we had to do then was check in! The return journey was as simple, we went outside the terminal and there was our car! The engine had been running and the aircon was on, so we stepped into a cool car and again we had help loading luggae into the car. Thank you Purple, we will use you again and again....

We arrived in good time and the driver was waiting where we expected, we simply dumped the car on him and wnet on our way. On return we called and picked the car up at the same place. It saved the usual drive around unfamiliar territory trying to find ambiguous car parking directions, getting on the cattle truck and finding and waiting at the bus-stop to get back. I would say that the service took out 80% of the stress and about one and a half hours of time. We would do it again. If you drive a quality car don't worry about leaving it with the driver, my mercedes came back all in one piece and no problems. They will wash it for you as well if you like.
